There were only eleven more years left until the next eclipse. Time was quickly slipping away from Naruto and Hinata and the inevitable was drawing near. Hinata was growing depressed and Naruto wasn't too far from following the same path as Hinata. That night, their love had no boundaries. Naruto and Hinata took comfort in each other and together they created a new type of love. Hinata gasped and arched her back pushing her chest onto Naruto's. Naruto's breathing quickened and Hinata felt every breath as his mouth was beside her ear. Hinata's hair was fanned out on the bed and Naruto took in the sight below him. She truly was an angel.

-One year later-

A scream echoed in the castle. Hinata gasped and another shock of pain drew another scream from her lips. Naruto held Hinata's hand wincing only slightly as Hinata nearly crushed the bones is the hand currently holding her.

"Come on, Hinata. Just one more push." Kushina said with a focused face.

Hinata pushed once more letting out a heart shattering scream then slumped against the bed in exhaustion. A tiny cry filled the room.

"Our son." Naruto mumbled as his eyes for the first time laid on his crying son.

Hinata tiredly lifted her arms indicating she wanted to hold her son. Kushina smiled in happiness as she wrapped her grandson in a blanket. Minato who had been standing beside his son the entire time couldn't help the proud smile lightening up his face. Kushina gently laid her grandson in Hinata's arms and Hinata cried at the beautiful sight in front of her. Naruto leaned forward and wrapped his arm around Hinata's shoulders and reached out one finger towards his son who was calming down. He had yet to open his eyes. Naruto's tears fell as his son wrapped his little hand around Naruto's finger.

"He looks like you." Hinata said smiling up at her husband.

"Not all like me. He may have your eyes, ya know."

At that moment, Naruto and Hinata's son opened his eyes to reveal grayish-blue eyes. They both laughed. Their son took after his father in looks.

Minato and Kushina stood by watching the beautiful sight play in front of them.

"What is his name going to be?" Minato asked softly not wanting to break the heart warming atmosphere.

"Boruto. Bolt Uzumaki for short." both Naruto and Hinata said.

Kushina leaned on her husband remembering when she first held her son.

-Two years later-

"Mommy." Bolt cried pointed at his mother's huge stomach. He had a small angry pout wanting his brother or sister to come out already.

"Bolt, leave your mother be. She needs to rest" Naruto warned.

"But-"

"No buts."

Bolt pouted and tears gathered in his blue eyes. He played his puppy dog eyes almost breaking Naruto's resolve, but Naruto would not let himself be swayed so easily this time. Hinata giggled at her two boys arguing, but she suddenly gasped. Naruto whirled around to face her.

"Time?" he nervously asked.

Hinata nodded and Naruto wasted no time in carrying his wife to the infirmary all the while yelling for his mother. Bolt tried to keep up with his parents and his grandmother, but they were getting farther and farther away. Bolt fell and began to sniffle.

"Come on." Minato called scooping his grandson in his arms. Bolt wrapped his tiny arms around his grandfather. "Let's go greet your sibling."

Bolt nodded his head multiple times in anticipation and squirmed in Minato's arms wanting to arrive faster. A few hours later Bolt was allowed into the infirmary. The entire time he had to wait outside with Minato playing with him.

"A healthy baby girl." Kushina announced upon their entrance.

Naruto lifted his son and held him while Hinata held her daughter.

"She looks like you." Naruto commented taking in his daughter's indigo hair that matched his wife's.

Hinata smiled. Bolt stared at his sister in wonder and in that moment he subconsciously vowed to protect his little sister. Naruto and Hinata's daughter opened her eyes to reveal the same colored eyes as her older brother.

"Himawari Uzumaki." Naruto whispered.

Naruto and Hinata refused to let the worry about the eclipse intrude on this moment. Later they could worry but right now they would focus on their family.

Only nine more years until the eclipse.
