Accidental Encounter (Gabenath)

Part 5: Mystery Man

Nathalie had just arrived at the hotel. She parked across the street and made her way into the doors whilst still keeping her mask up. The doorman signified her to go upstairs by raising his hand up in approval.

She walked upstairs to hear sweet classical music, talking and laughing coming from the main door. She opened inside to find the whole place decorated in blue and white. Everything was perfectly placed except for the balloons everywhere which no one seemed to really mind. The people were all in masks and fancy dresses and suits all in different colours. When she looked around she could find her best friend waiting for her at one of the large round tables which were by the bar.

Penny looked beautiful and fancy. Her hair was slightly curled and was a little longer than what she had it normally; her dress was a slight dark purple which was knee length and looked tight. Before she could analyse anything more, Penny came up to her and gave her a big hug. "How beautiful do you look! Now that you left you have really come out of your shell!" Penny exclaimed. " Thanks, Penny" Nathalie mumbled.

Nathalie looked beautiful and she knew it. Her hair was down and in waves and was slightly shorter and darker than usual, due to how much hairspray was in her hair. The streak in her hair was covered because she didn't want anyone else to notice it so she wouldn't be found. The dress she wore was extravagant, having a close resemblance to her outfit as Mayura but it still looked more modern than her original design. she wore very fancy long earrings which were white and silver and she also had a long necklace with a little star at the end of it.

Nathalie went to sit down, but before she could a mysterious man with a black and purple tuxedo came in through the door. He looked sleek and mysterious and was completely gorgeous. He looked like Gabriel, but Gabriel hadn't gone to one of these parties in years and he certainly wouldn't go to this one. 

Gabriel had mixed feelings when going through the door. He felt as he was going to be found out by everyone but also he thought that he would find someone new and that he would forget all about apologising to Nathalie. As he walked in the rushing sensation of the excitement hit him. Everyone looked like they were having a good time and no one thought he was the fashion designer as no one was coming up to him asking questions.

He looked around but then stopped as he looked straight at a beautiful woman across from where he was standing.  He decided he was going to try and ask her to dance because after all, he had not seen such a beautiful woman in front of him in ages.

But what was worse is that she had a mask across her face which didn't show all of the features of her face. Before he could say anything she leaped up from her chair and gave a small smirk which gave him butterflies in his stomach. They moved towards the section of the room which had an open space for dancing. It had a couple of people dancing to the background music but all of them seemed a little out of it. Gabriel didn't bother to speak,  just like Nathalie; so both of them held hands and made their way to the section in the room.

Nathalie took the hand of the mysterious man. He was perfect and handsome but she couldn't see his face due to the large mask on his face. Because he was so tall, she couldn't see his hair and couldn't see his eyes properly.

Nathalie and Gabriel both got into the position they wanted to. Gabriel put his hands on Nathalie's waist and Nathalie put her arms around his neck. Both of them started to dance across the room; They both had their eyes locked on each other as both focused on each other's presence.

She chuckled and he smiled as both of them were blushing a shade of red. Nathalie was dancing elegantly and Gabriel was too. Both of them were enjoying each other's company and both of them didn't want it to stop.
