Part 4: Getting Ready + Authors Note

Thank you everyone for almost 100 Reads! This story is my first one and I'm really happy with the support I'm getting! All of you are so nice and I'm making sure that I'm now checking that I'm following everyone who reads. Hopefully in the future when I finish this I can aim for making more stories and hopefully improving each chapter. There will be about 10- 14 Chapters and I will make sure that the chapters are a bit longer and I will allow feedback. You can now read on!

Nathalie was waiting for the new shoes she ordered when she suddenly got a message from Penny.

Are you ready for Tonight? - Penny xx

Nathalie had forgotten that the gala was tonight, and that penny was coming too. Penny had become best friends with Nathalie, ever since Nathalie had to go to fashion week, and since Jagged had sponsored most of the fashion brands he came and took his assistant too. Ever since then, Penny and her were best friends and did everything together. They had coffee together and went to galas together. Just as friends.
Even though Nathalie was usually cold and emotionless, she surprisingly had a ton in common with penny and they instantly became best friends.

Because penny was coming tonight she was so excited and happy that she may explode. What made the evening even better was that the gala was going to be Fully agreste free, so no stress and no pain and she was going to be with Penny. Her only friend at the gala tonight and she was going to have the time of her life.

Nathalie responded with

Nathalie had 5 hours, but she still was running late. She needed to make a good impression after everything that had happened. She didn't want anyone asking her why she had quit and most importantly why she hadn't been in contact with Gabriel.
After writing her letter, she couldn't bear the thought of seeing him again or even hearing about him again. It was way too painful for her to remind herself on what had happened three weeks ago because it felt like it wasn't supposed to happen.

She began to write down her notes on what she had to do for the gala tonight.

she was going to need a ton of patience and stuff in order to make this happen, so she would have to start now before she was later than she already was.

Gabriel had started to create his suit for tonight. It was dark purple and black, looking oddly familiar to his costume as hawk moth.  He was also making his mask as well because he knew that if he was seen, that he would be over the news everywhere, as he hadn't gone out since Adrien's shoot which was about a year ago from today. Gabriel was also weirdly excited since he had given up on Emilie and the miraculous so he will maybe find someone new. Someone like Nathalie. Not Nathalie, But it couldn't be Nathalie because  she still was a bit distant towards him and she hadn't talked to him since she left. He knew Nathalie won't be there, because she was probably at a new job. So he was going to be alone. (Or so he thought)

Nathalie had just finished her outfit, and ticked off the things off her list. the only thing left to complete the outfit were her shoes. they should have come by now, she ordered them a few days ago since the gala was today. She checked her phone for the third time as she had been nervous about being late. (even though the gala was in 2 hours) "Finally!" She cried as she saw the little guy on her phone had arrived. She made her way downstairs to find a box with her shoes in it. She quickly opened up the door and took the box upstairs to her apartment. She opened the apartment door to find everything was messy. Just liked she had left it.She opened the box to find the two shoes she ordered online safely in her box. She sighed in relief because it didn't seem destroyed or recked in any way. So put her shoes on and grabbed her mask and bag (Which were peacock-themed obviously) and walked down into her car.

Gabriel was stressed. He hadn't finished the mask and was running out of time. With only 1 hour to go, he was going to be late and he didn't like to be late. He decided the original design of the mask was a bit too complex with all the sparkles and tiny designs so he changed the original dark sparkles and removed them. The mask looked fine for now, just needed some material to finish off. He put on the bits of leather and was satisfied with the results. He quickly made it into the car and the bodyguard started to drive to the hotel.
