Chapter 9

LIV'S POV

As Casey and I sat on our beds waiting for the guys to come bring as food we heard pounding on a door. I stood up and walked closer to the door of our room. The pounding happened again. This time Casey hopped up and walked over by me. Then we heard the door break down and heavy feet running throughout the building, then a man came upon our room he unlocked the door and let us out.

"Follow me." He said as he held up his gun and started walking down the hallway. As we walked down the hallway the light of day started to become visible. Casey and I started running towards the door. When we stepped out the Suns rays hit us in the face. There was police cars surrounding the building and others stuffing Goon and Guy into there cop cars. Then my mom walked in front of the wall of police and over to me and gave me a giant hug.

"Oh liv...." My mom said

"Liv... Liv.... Livie! Liv!!"

"What!?" I said while sitting up. I looked around. I was back in the room with Casey. "It was a dream." I said to myself.

"Liv, I have a plan to get out of here." Casey said to me.

"Well what is it?"

Casey pulled out a pocket knife from her pocket.

"I'm going to use this as a weapon for when they open the door I'll stab the guy and then we'll get out of here."

"How well have you thought of this plan of yours?" I asked her.

"I just came up with it."

"We need to think it through a little more before I risk my life at escaping." I said back.

"But both of us together can over power Guy #2 and then Goon. He will be harder but we can do it." Casey said while tightening her fist.

"Weeeelllllll... I'm just scared that something is going to go wrong and I don't want to get in trouble from Guy and Goon." I said.

"Trust me. My plan is not a failure." Casey said.

After talking a while about the plan and planning it out some more we decided to try it out, even though it could mean some baaaaad stuff could happen to us.

Guy came in with our foods. He walked towards the middle of the room and bent over. Casey ran behind him and pushed him over than, both of us ran out the door and closed it on him.

"So which way do we go?" I asked.

"Umm we stick together." Casey said while going her way.

I quietly ran up next to her and looked around. It was a dark hallway, many turns that you cold take. Then we started seeing doors.

"Which door is it?" I asked.

"How would I know." Casey said back all rude.

Casey walked up to a door and slowly opened it. We peered our heads inside. Goon was sitting in a chair watching TV. We quickly pulled the door to us, not closing it all the way so it didnt make noise. Then there was pounding coming from where our room was. Guy was pounding on the door. Goon grabbed the remote and turned the TV off.

"Hurry, go!!" Casey whispered while pushing me to move. We both started running away from the room where Goon was. We jumped around the corner and peeked our heads out. Goon was walking the other way towards the room.

"We need to get out of here. And FAST!" I said to Casey. She looked around. I looked also. Then in the distance there was light coming from under the door.

"Could it be?" I asked. Casey and I started walking towards the door. Soon we were standing in front of it. Casey grabbed the door handle and started to turn it. Then the collar of both of our shirts was tightly grabbed and yanked. I faced Guy and Goon as they had a deadly look on their faces. They gave a great pushed to Casey and I that knocked me on the ground.

"GO BACK TO THE ROOM!!" Goon yelled at us. I looked over at Casey. She was just standing there. Goon walked up behind her and kicked her down. Then he started to kick her in the stomach.

"GET UP!" Guy yelled at me.

I slowly got up and started walking back to the room. When I was back Guy closed the door and left. I think he went back to Casey.

"Mady, Mady. Hello?" I yelled through the wall.

"Yes?" She answered.

"Do you know what they will do to Casey for escaping, or trying to anyway." I asked

"Nope. Never tried it." She replied.

I walked over to my cot and sat down, waiting for when Casey would come back. IF Casey would come back.

Then I heard footsteps in the hallway. The door opened. Goon threw Casey inside the room. She had bruises all over her. And she was holding her arm.

"Are u ok?" I asked while getting up.

"Don't touch me. I..I think they broke my arm."

I looked over at her arm it was swelling and red.

I woke up with the door opening. Guy was in the door way and Goon was walking towards Casey he carefully injected something into and picked her up and carried out of the room.
