Chapter 36 - Dream proposal

Dream proposal.

It had been 2 days since we reached Shimla and it was freezing.

We couldn't even think of going out but in a way I liked it, it was sort of romantic.

We were sitting in front of the fire place, my head on Zaroon's shoulder, our fingers tangled. I dont know how long we sat there just talking and doing nothing and yet I still loved it.

"I am freezing there is no way we are going out today" Zaroon says.

"Honestly, I like it" I say and wink.

"Ah yeah! You've lived in London during winters this must be nothing for you" He says and gets up to get us coffee.

"No I dint mean that, I meant us...here...together..in front of this fire place" I say and get up.

In the last two days all we did was walk around our hotel in the morning and spent the evenings inside our room.

I was scared Zaroon would catch a cold because he wasn't used to this kind of a weather, so when he said he did not feel like going out I did not force him.

"Oh that! I thought you were talking about the weather" He chuckles and I smile back.

"Here! Let me help you" I say and pick up the cups so we could go back and sit in front of the fire place.

"Uh..Ayaat, I've been meaning to tell you something" Zaroon stammers.

"Is it something good? Something that'll make me happy?" I ask excited.

"Uh..Well no.." He says with a straight face.

"Something that'll upset me?" I ask again as we sit.

"May be" He says unsure.

"Then let it be, I dont want to talk about anything that's going to upset me. I dont want to ruin this trip for us" I say happily.

"Have I told you how much I love you?" He says pulling me closer.

"Ah! Well in the last one week, Yes alot of times" I say.

"Eee. My bad" He says and fakes disappointment.

"Yes!"

"But you are so lovable. Look at you. OMG! Your the best thing that has ever happened to me. Could anybody think I would get a wife like you Who is not just beautiful in looks but also in charecter...." He says making me feel special.

"Zaroooon! Stop it" I say and hit him playfully.

It was good to see that I was getting along so well with him. I thought it would take me forever to open up to him, talk to him, be comfortable around him but no I was wrong.

May be when you find the right person everything just automatically happens.

"Im serious" He says.

"Ok, Its my turn" I say excited.

"Go on Im listening" He says.

"Have I ever told you that...."

"That? What?" He asks curiously.

"That...."

"Thaat?" He gets curious.

"Thaaaaat"

"Oh Ayaat! Common now seriously. Are you going to even tell anything or just ' that ' the entire evening" He says and puffs up his face and I begin to laugh
