"Certainly We created the human being from an extract of clay. Then We made him a drop of (seminal) fluid (lodged) in a secure abode. Then We created the drop of fluid as a clinging mass. Then We created the clinging mass as a fleshy tissue. Then We created the fleshy tissue as bones. Them We clothed the bones with flesh. Then We produced him as (yet) another creature. So blessed is Allāh (SwT), the best of creators!" : (Surat al-Mu'minūn verses 12-14)

I loved how these days were going, I was pampered by Zaroon, he came back home early from the hospital to give me time though we hadn't told anybody else about it yet Gazala aunty was suspicious.

I didnt want anyone to get false hopes. I wanted to confirm it a 100% before telling it to anyone so thats why we decided to go see a gynocologist.

"I'll pick you up at 2?" Zaroon asks before he leaves.
"2 sounds good" I smile.
"Take care and don't stress yourself too much" He says and leaves.

I was just sitting reading a book on my study table when Gazala aunty comes upto my room.

"Ayaat?" She calls from outside.

I get up, keep the book aside and walk to the door.

"Did you call me?" I ask her.
"Ahmed bhai has come. He says he wants to talk to you before he left." She says and walks away.

It hits me suddenly that ahmed uncle wanted to give me something that Omar left with him. I put on a hijab and run downstairs.
He was already seated on the sofa and had a soft drink in his hand.

"Assalamualikum uncle" I greet him and sit on the opposite sofa.
"Walekum assalam. Ayaat! I came to drop this off" he hands me a bag and I take it.

"What it is uncle?" I ask thinking what could have Omar given.
"I really dont know. Omar didn't tell me I just hope I didnt break it" He chuckles.
"I'm sorry you had to go through all the trouble, I would have taken it myself but I've been busy" I apologise
"No no its fine. I got to meet you anyway I was hoping I could meet your Husband too" He says and places the glass on the table.
"Oh Zaroon left. You just missed him. Inn sha Allah next time" I say with a smile.
"No problem. I should leave" he says, greets and thanks me and then leaves.

I take the bag with me to the room quickly when I see Arzoo sitting there on my bed.

"Hey Arzoo! Do you need something?" I place the bag on the study table.

"I'm going to ask you directly. Are you cheating on Zaroon with Omar?" She asks furiously.
I stand there blank.

"Whaaat?" I say unbelievably.
"Look. Why cant you just let the 2 of us be happy, why cant you just let me make some place in his heart? Why are you behind him? Aren't you married? Don't you have shame?" She goes on and on and on.

She was getting out of control.

"I know you both have a history, Omar doesn't hide anything from me and now again isn't that bag there something from him?" She was blaming me for things I didnt do.

"Arzoo!" I scream disgusted.
"I do not know why you think the way you think. Just don't drag me into any of your awful thinking. There's nothing like that. I'm tired of explaining it." I was furious too now.

I had had enough, why wouldn't people understand. I loved Zaroon. He was my husband there was nothing more important to me in this world than him. And Omar? Uff. I didn't even wanna think anymore.
I stand at the door and point outside asking her to leave and she does. As soon as she leaves I bang my door and latch it.
