The most blessed Nikah is the one with least expenses.

The day was finally here, when Yusuf and Aisha were getting married and completing half of their Deen.

Yusuf demanded for a simple nikah not the usual big fat Indian wedding, initially a lot of people were upset by the demand but came around it eventually. They came to a conclusion to have a simple reception and a small dinner party after the nikah. I was inspired by Yusuf's determination to get married the halal way and decided that when time comes I too shall marry in a similar manner.

The nikah was to happen after the Asar namaaz in the mosque, all the men would go to the mosque and all the ladies to Aisha's house.

I decided to wear a purple & black Anarkali with gold sequence on borders. The one that I actually liked was chosen by Fiza but I didn't really mind to wear the purple & black one either it was just a dress and it was still making me look pretty.

I took out a black hijab with gold sequence to match the dress. I kept everything ready on the bed and went down to see what was happening.

"The house looks lovely, Doesn't it Ammi?" I ask impresses by the decorations.

It surely did look beautiful to me with yellow & orange flower's put across the doors and windows and all the lights bright enough to make someone blind yet it all looked lovely and some rose petals in bowls of water kept in every corner of the house.

"Yes it does Ayaat, all credit goes to your father He took care of the decorations" She says.

"No wonder it looks so beautiful" I say  proud of my father's taste.

"Ayaat, go call everyone for lunch." Mum ordered.

"Yes ma'am" I said and left.

After lunch was done, we left to get ready in our respective rooms.

I prayed zuhr and thanked Allah for this beautiful day in our lives and then got up to get dressed.

I put on my pretty purple & black dress, applied some kajal to, a little pink gloss & ittar or perfume, I did not want to over do it, so I kept it simple plus the gathering was just at home.

I rolled my hair into a bun and clipped it & put my black Hijab over it.

There! I was ready within minutes.

I got down to see who else was ready & to my surprise I was the only one.

I waited for another 5 minutes and then I saw something, Something that surprised me, my eyes couldn't believe it.

Yusuf in a thobe!

That's not something I had seen him wear since ages. He decided to wear a suit but how was he in a thobe then?

I rolled my eyes from top to bottom, bottom to top at Yusuf & he gave me a weird smile.

I was so surprised because yusuf always wore jeans, shirt and pants and everything but not a freaking Thobe.

I knew he loved Allah, but he prefered not showing it off and kept it only in his heart He was not the best muslim I knew but he was always trying like any of ua.

"What are you wearing?" I shrieked.

"A thobe"  he shrugs.

"But you were going to wear a suit, weren't you?"

"Yes, but then Zaroon suggested I wear a thobe it would be different and honestly I think so too" he says calmly.

"So here I am, in a thobe"
