| 11. Aware, Clueless |
Once I was comfortably sat down in my seat, I felt an arm rest against my shoulder, like I was an arm rest. Confused and dazed, I turned to see Vikk with a cheeky smile plastered across his face.
It was now Monday. Lachlan was doing who knows what yesterday, so I never made it to his dwelling. This only lead me to more judging from my sister, and her ugly relations with her boyfriend. Honestly, Zoey, I couldn't care less.
"Er, where's Vi?" I asked him as I ever so slightly tried to push him off me.
"There," Vikk muttered and nodded his head towards the sulking girl. What stopped her from coming over here to steal Vikk, who knows.
At the sight of his 'girlfriend', his expression dropped, only for a brief moment, at that. His eyes scanned the room, searching for the flame to his imaginary match.
My head turned to meet Lachlan's blue eyes, who were as confused as mine were.
"What are you getting at?" I asked Vikk, who seemed to be observing the class with eyes of an eagle.
"You said you'd help me."
"With what, asshat?"
"Looks like we've got a sassy one," he teased with a poisoning tone.
"Just answer the question."
"A girl, remember?" He dangled his hands, motioning them around by the wrists.
"Not with your girlfriend around," my monotone voice rang out into the clearly bustling school, but only seemingly managed to be within earshot of my two male companions.
"Oh, yeah," Vikk mumbled, taking his arm off of me. Why did he have to be so clueless?
As I got rid of him, Lachlan turned to me, his eyes melting my heart--no. I may have feelings for him, but I'm not going to turn all 'white girl' on this situation.
"Vikk?" Lachlan murmured.
"Vikk." I said, slightly unsettled by the current situation. I am able the wrench my eyes from Lachlan, only to find myself looking back towards the 'happy couple'.
Vi was, once again, all over him. The usual, I assume.
But Vikk's attitude was more... distant--well, as opposed to the previous week. He's always been so alert with his doings, it was actually kind of unsettling. Not to mention I would've thought he'd been gone by now--
Why the hell am I observing his every move? Sometimes, I think I'm a little clueless...
...whatever that may mean for me.

I'm going to try and keep this at a once a week update type thing.
