Damn, hate working a late shift. I walked down the street, trying to ignore my thoughts. This is what I get for watching all those shows about the supernatural. Now I feel like something is watching me. I looked around, hoping that nothing was going to come at me. Thankfully, nothing.

*CRASH*

I jumped at the sound of something crashing. I walked over to an ally and saw a trash can lid roll out. I looked down the alley and saw what looked like a boy head down in a trash can. I let out a sigh of relief and walked over to help him. "Here, let me help you." I began helping him, when I felt like passing out. I jumped back. His head was gone, but yet he was still moving. That was when I notice his skin tone. It was a light blue. Suddenly, the pieces fell into place. "Um, hay, are you....by chance with that Monster Exchange Program?" He shot up and turned towards be, doing what I guess was saying yes. "Alright. Then.....do you need help finding your....head?" I asked him and again, was nodding in a way. "Then, let's go see if we can find your head." I said and took his hand. Instead, he latched onto my arm and I blushed at the action.

After about an hour of looking through allies, thought it was time to try the park. I dug through the bushes and around in the little forest that was there. After about twenty minutes, I saw a lump on the ground. It had something white flowing from the top and I had an idea what it is. "Um excuse me." I said and as expected, it talked.
"Who goes there?" The head said, followed by a pair yellow eyes looking at me.
"Huh, hi. I think I found someone that would be happy to...feel you, I guess." I said and she just looked at me like I was an idiot.
"So, you found my body, take me to him at once." He said and I looked at him a bit annoyed.
"You could least say please."
"Please? A mortal like yourself should be happy to help an agent of death." He retoreted. "Yeah well, you aren't much of one when you are just a head on the ground." I told him.
"How dare you! I'll-"
"What? Roll over and bite my ankle?"
He stopped in mid-sentence and sighed. He muttered something.

"What?" I asked him. He blushed and adverted my gaze. "P-please help me." He said. I smiled and picked his head up. "See, that wasn't hard, was it." I told him, to which he gave me a 'shut up' and I chuckled. I cannot lie, he was kinda cute. Both of them. I started walking towards where I left his body. "By the way, my name is (Y/N)." I said. "Louie." Louie said. I giggled a bit. "Cute name for an agent of death." I said.

"I am not cute! I am a Dullahan! Keep calling me 'cute' and I'll have your soul!" Louie shouted at me and I snickered a bit more.
"So, you are a headless horse man, or, woman. Thought your saturation seemed familiar." I said.
"Huh? You know about my species?"
"Well, I watched an anime that had one and it made me want to look up Dullahans more." I admitted. "I see. Well, then I see why you were keen to help."
"Actually, I wanted to help cause your body was a bit...."
"Clumsy."
"Yeah."
Eventually, we got to the bench where Louie's body was. I held out Louie and his body immediately grabbed him in a hug, before placing Louie back onto his head, making the pair whole once more. "Thank you (Y/N), now, I must be off." Louie said but I grabbed his wrist.
"Hay, um, I know you have this duty to do. But you know that a Monster Boys can't be out without a host, and well, I doubt you have one....so you should at least spend the night at my place, as to not get in trouble." I told him. Louie looked as if he was to protest, but he must have been thinking of something, so he quickly nodded.
(At your House.)
"Alright, thanks man." I hung up the phone and walked into the living room. "Alright, so a friend of mine is going to give that agency a call, but I bet they won't be here till tomorrow. So till then, you can stay in the guest room." I said and Louie nodded.
I lead him upstairs and opened the door showing the room. Louie looked at me and smiled. "Thank you (Y/N)." Louie said with a small smile. I smiled back and once I got into my room, I flopped onto the bed and looked at the celling. "I hope he can stay."
(Few Weeks later)
I walked downstairs, rubbing my eye as I walked into the kitchen. "Good morning (Y/N)." I looked to see Louie already up. He was sitting at the table 'drinking' tea.

When the agent came a few weeks back, he was going to take Louie with him, but I asked if I could sign up and have Louie be my guest. The man, thought about it, and agreed on the spot. After that, it has been nice. There are the embarrassing moments, but Louie was a pleasant guest. Course, all this didn't come without something happen. The more time I spent with Louie , the more I found myself falling for him. I know that this wasn't supposed to happen, but luckily a bill was pass so human/non-human couples could be a thing, so I can tell him. Just don't know how.
I sat down with breakfast for us. I began to eat while Louie 's body just, poured everything in. I looked up from my food and saw Louie looking at me, before quickly looking away, or as best he could. I smiled at it. "So, are we doing anything today?" Louie asked as his body placed him back on. "Well, I was thinking on taking a walk." I said with a shrug.

"That would be nice." He said with a smile. Dammit, can't hold it in. I'll tell him on the walk. I finished eating and after a quick shower in getting dressed, me and Louie went on for that walk. I walked close to Louie and looked at him. He was keeping him normal stoic look on his face. I somewhat understood why, cause everyone was looking at him.

I took Louie 's hand. "Come on, this way." I said and lead him, but not without noticing a blush on his face. I lead him to the park where I met him and we walked through there. "Thanks." Louie said not looking at me.

"You're welcome." I said. After about another twenty-minutes, we sat down and I looked around. I happened to notice a guy and a harpy kissing. I blushed, because I imagined me and Louie kissing. That when I felt Louie grab my hand and I looked at him. "I....I want to tell you something." He said, blushing, and looking away. I smiled and held his hand back. "I think I know what it is." I said and he looked at me surprised. I leaned in and kissed him.

I admit, it was a bit cold. (AN: I assume it would, but I could be wrong) I felt Louie began to kiss back and we began to hold each other. After a bit, we separated. "I love you too." I said and Louie was just a blushing mess.

I giggled and put my forehead against his. He smiled and put a little presser back. Which didn't work as his head fell off and onto the ground. I chuckle and picked it up and put it back on.
(Later, that night)
I put my shirt on and was about to get into bed, when I heard the door opened. I turned around to see Louie standing there, his head in his hands as he walked over. "I-I wanted to sleep with you tonight." He said and I smiled. "Sure."
I took his head and crawled into bed. His body got under the blanker, it's usual energetic self, taking place behind he and holding me close. I smiled and held his head close. "Night, my agent of death." I said.

"Good night....my love." Louie said and we fell asleep like that.
