Johnny, who was getting a piggy back ride from Link because he was a tired bitch, gave him a challenging look. "Gege. Dont you dare."

Link didn't reply, either he didn't hear Johnny or was ignoring him, he only shifted the tired bastard on his back so he wouldn't fall. Xie Lian sweatdropped, realizing he was probably one of the last sane people there if Johnny and Link weren't sleep deprived at the moment. Actually, who was he kidding, they were always sleep deprived.

Nan Feng and Fu Yao, who were both arguing with eachother and leading the group(?), stopped suddenly. Xie Lian managed to prevent himself from bumping into them, but wasn't fortunate enough to not be bumped into by Johnny and Link.

After a bit of Xie Lian talking to the caretaker of the place they stopped at, they proceeded to enter the shrine of Nan Yang and settle down to sit criss cross near the feet of the statue said god. Johnny slid off of Link's back and the two sat down as well, his elbow resting on Link's shoulder.

"To set things straight, over the last 100 years, a total of 17 brides disappeared while they were in their way to get married in the Yujun mountain area."

"Were there any similarities between these missing brides?"

"Some were rich, some poor, beautiful, while others were not. There were no similarities to any of them."

Johnny shifted his arm slightly as it had began to fal asleep. "That's rather strange..."

"Aye.."

Xie Lian continued, "The last missing bride was the daughter of a government official. Her father offered a large amount to those who could find her and the culprit."

He paused, allowing it to sink in. The only noise being Nan Feng crunching on an apple that has previously been an offering before Fu Yao spoke up. "If no one has seen the thing doing all of this, how could they call them a 'ghost groom'?" He glanced at Nan Fang who was munching away on an apple, he nudged his arm making him glare at the male. He turned to look back at Xie Lian and continued,

"Isn't that conclusion rash?"

"It could be that's what the people are calling him. Back home we had multiple people that had a nickname specifically based off of the situation, how they did a murdered someone, or if no one know their true identity." Johnny piped in. Link nodded. "Yeah like the Zodiac Killer." He added.

"The what killer?" Nan Feng asked, "The Zodiac killer, he took credit for a lot of murders back in Sa- he took credit for a bunch of murders back home." Link saved their none existing asses.

"Never heard of him."

'That's because he isn't alive in this time period.' Johnny thought, blinking. They turned back to the situation at hand.

"Anyways, that is indeed correct Johnny. The name 'Ghost groom' is simply a nickname the mortals gave them." Xie Lian began to roll up the scroll in his hand when Link heard something coming from behind the door, his head whipping towards the direction.

"What is it Gege?" Johnny asked, "Someone's coming." They heard him mutter.

"Quickly, conceal yourselves!" Nan Feng, Fu Yao, and Xie Lian disappeared from Johnny and Link's sights. They stared at eachother wide eyed, they had to find a hiding spot quick. They were about to run to find a hiding spot when Xie Lian appeared once more, and so did Fu Yao and Nan Feng.
