Waverider Christmas

"Clarity, while I must admit you have a splendid voice would you, please, stop singing every Christmas song known to man?" Rip begged her rubbing his temples. The Englishman having a splitting headache from the constant carols. It wasn't that she had a bad voice, on the contrary it was quite lovely, but there were only so many times he could hear the words deck the halls without wanting to take out his pistol and shoot himself in the head.

"Oh don't be a Scrooge, Captain. Pachirisu, you keep singing." Sara told Clarity bopping her lightly on the nose before turning to head down the hallway.

"Leonard we need some snow in here! I promised my Pokémon a white Christmas on this tin can and I'm gonna deliver." Sara called to the ice villain her voice echoing as she yelled.

"Winter what!?" Rip bolted upright out of his chair looking at Sara in disbelief. He couldn't have heard that right. "Miss Lance, absolutely not. You will not under any circumstances be turning the waverider into your own personal snowglobe. Clarity will just have to have a snowless Christmas and that's that."

"She won't, but I will." Snart said firing his gun all around setting it up it's lowest setting making it snow.

"Thank you, Leonard." Sara smiled at him.

"Winter wonderland for the spark plug, and a snowy hell for the Captain, it was my pleasure."Snart rested his gun on his shoulder with a smirk as Rip fumed. He was just about to throttle the chuckling thief when he slipped down the parlour stairs due to a coating of ice.

"Oh bullocks..." Rip groaned rubbing his head.

"Whoa it's a Christmas miracle" Ray marveled in awe of the snowy sight walking into the room from the other doorway with a grin a bag of Christmas decorations over his shoulder. Mick carrying a huge pine tree behind him. Jax trailing behind him with Christmas cookies that Clarity had made earlier.

"We are still in need of a tree topper!" Stein pointed out as Mick set down the Christmas tree on the corner opposite to Clarity's Comfy Corner. The arsonist knowing full well she'd want to make use of it opening her presents.

"What the hell is that? Why is there a tree on my ship!? Who knows what disease infested animals have been on that thing" Rip protested repulsed by the sight. "Remove it at once!"

"Oh cmon Rip. It's a Christmas tree!" Jax said biting a cookie, crumbs falling onto his shirt.

"Take it back to the woods! Now!" Rip said pointing to the door furiously.

"Tree topper....tree topper.....oh wait that's it! Cold! Ice me!" Clarity declared making a burst of electricity shoot up towards the ceiling Leonard firing at it freezing it effectively. Clarity caught it before it could shatter upon the ground. The ice glowed blue but stayed solid. The two successfully creating a glowing blue star to put a top their Christmas tree.

"Will this do?" Clarity questioned holding it up.

"It's perfect. Nice thinking Pachirisu." Sara praised her.

"No! Your not putting anything on that sappy abomination! Get it out of here! Mr. Palmer don't hang candy canes everywhere! Who even gave you sugar?" Rip berated.

While Ray kept Rip distracted Jax put the frozen lightning on top of the tree.

"Lookin good guys! Ray keep those peppermint sticks coming" Jax laughed and Ray immediately set to work decorating the tree with Clarity.

"You try to ruin their Christmas and I'll roast you like a chestnut over an open fire" Mick promised Rip, hand on his gun.

Rip retreated into his study hiding behind his desk. Christmas fever had taken over his crew. Even Mick seemed somewhat seasonal if his threat was any indication. And now it seemed it had taken over the ship as well.

"Gideon are you providing Clarity background music?" Rip asked hearing the computer start a background melody.

"It's Christmas" Was Gideon's excuse and Rip groaned. The American christmas season of the 21st century would be the death of him. Well, at least he could join his family that much quicker, as Clarity resumed her singing of deck the halls.
