Chapter 23- Worries

John's POV

Sh*t! Sh*t!

Bakit ko sya iniwan?! Tanga mo John! Lumingon ako at nakita ko sya, kinover nya yung mukha nya..pinabayaan ko syang maulanan. Ako ren naman naulanan, sobrang basa na nga ako eh kaso nakasilong ako sa puno at tinitingnan sya..bat di pa ako umaaksyon?! sobrang basa na sya sa ulan John! Kilos ka naman! Hindi nya ako makita dito sa puno kasi mejo makapal yung fog at kung oo, imposible yun.

Lalapit na sana ako kaso tumayo na lang sya at umalis, pinahid nya muna yung cheeks nya..u-umiiyak sya? how sure i am?sa lakas ng ulan?

Tuluyan na syang umalis at umalis an rin ako. Geez John, what the heck did you just did? Pinabayaan mo nanaman sya! Tanga mo!

I went to the street looking hell, good thing na hindi ako napapansin ng mga tao na ako ay artista. I don't consider myself much an actor..i consider myself as a normal person and a lo-lover. I've never loved someone so much in my life like Sa-Sarah.

Tumawag ako sa phone ko ng taxi and also the good thing is hindi rin nabasa yung phone ko pero..pano si Sarah? i should've helped her. 

"I'm sorry." bulong ko sa hangin.

May pumara sakin na taxi, i opened the door and i said the driver to take me in my condo. He keeps looking at me at the rearmirror so suspiciously..

"Dyan na lang po manong, salamat po." binigay ko yung pera at ngumiti ako, i was to get out when he said something.

"Kayo po ba si Sir John?" tanong nya, tumango sya at nabighani ata

"Sir, calling card ko ho, sakaling may emergency ho kau! ready po ako!" ngumiti sya at binigay nya yung isang card, tinanggap ko yung card at iniscan..

"Manong Benedicto?" pinasure kong sabi, nilagay ko yung card sa pocket ng jeans ko

"Naku po, Ben nalang po!geh po!arangkada na po ako!" sabi nya at ngumit lang ako, i went straight to my flat.

"Argh!" sigaw ko sa loob nung naclose ko na yung pinto, i opened my reft and got some beers.

Friends. Friends. Friend.

We're just, friends. Bakit affected pa ako? Bakit?

This is damn crazy right now! I remembered the day when she said yes to be my girlfriend, our memories, flashbacks.

*TOOT*

I snapped back in reality when i heared my phone ringing. Si Calvin lang pala, may isang side pala yun ng gender. Hinahanap na ata ako sa office, yeah i left for lunch with Sarah together with that mokong bf. Absent muna nga ako ngayon, i'm so tired of reality! I want to end it but it's impossible.

I declined his phonecall at napatulala na lang ako sa phone ko..my wallpaper, Me and Sarah sa NY. Pinindot ko yung phone ko sa contacts at nagdadalawang isip ako kung icacall ko sya..asan na sya?kamusta na sya? the questions keeps running through my head.

"Hey, It's Sarah G.! i'm sorry if i i'm not answering your call at this time..please leave a message and i'll answer it quickly!*TOOT*" her voicemail, it took 4 seconds before i speak up

"Hey Sa-sarah, it's John..uhm uh..i would like to invite you lunch tom. please answer ASAP." sabi ko

Please. Uminom ako ng beer and i blinked somehow.

"Love you bebe ko!" she said so happily..

I hugged her but she turned away and left me, i searched my sorroundings but there's no sign of her.

"San ka?" i shouted, bakit paos ako? it brought me to the next scene, it's like traveling some place to another..

Nanlaki ang mga mata ko sa nakikita ko..i watched her in slow motion going to kiss someone..

"Sarah!" napasigaw ako, tsk. It's just a dream.

Napahawak ako sa ulo ko, ang sakit. Nahangover ata ako..nagising an lang ako sa liwanag ng araw. It's a good day today, i hope so.Tiningnan ko yung phone ko at wala pang call or messages from her..hah!why am i hoping?

I did my morning routine and went straight to my office...Nagdecide na lang ako na pumunta sa office nya..i was wearing my shades today so no one will bother me..

"Uhmm, Sarah G.? Is she here?" tanong ko sa babaeng may headset at nakatinggin lang sa computer

"Do you any appointment to her, sir?" she was asking about my name

"Is she here?" napahawak ako sa side ng forehead ko dahil mejo nafrustrate ako...ewan ko ba..naweweirduhan rin ako sa sarili ko ngayon.

"Ms.Sarah was not able to go to her office today, she is sick since yesterday late afternoon..may i get your name sir to inform Ms.Sarah?" nagsmile sya waiting for my answer

She's sick..because of me..stupid John bakit di mo kasi tinulungan! Pupunta ba ako sa kanya? Ugh! bahala na! para makabawi ako!

"What's her address?" tanong ko

"Sir, i'm sorry pero i can't say private profiles to our fellow mates..but i need your name sir." pangungulit nya..mejo nakukulitan kasi ako

"Her address." i gave her a serious look

"Sorry sir, but i need to do this..guards! paki-" pinutulan ko yung sasabihin nya and i fished out my phone calling Direct.

Tinanggal ko yung shades ko at nakita ko naman yung mukha ng babae na kausap ko na nagulat at yung iba naman parang gustong lumapit sakin..

"Hello John! Napatawag ka." sabi ng kabilang linya sa phone ko

"Yes, direct..may itatanong sana po ako kung same condo pa rin po ba si Sarah?" 

"O yes John..i heared na may sakit sya..i'm about see her later..are you going to see her?" tanong nya

"Ah bahala na po..sige po salamat." i chuckled and ended our conversation in my phone, i should've not ask her place with this girl.

"Thanks na lang." i simply said at kita naman sa mukha nya na sobrang na fascinate or like that..i walked away and went to my car roaring up going to her place.

Nasa elevator ako ngayon, kilala na kasi ako sa building na to..halata naman..haha..bakit ako kinakabahan? grabe, i haven't felt this before..i started twitching my fingers..wew. grabe kinakabahan nga ako.

Naiwan ako dito sa harapan ng pinto nya..there's no turning back..

Nagdoorbell ako..

"Sara-" ay sh*t..mali yung pinto na napuntahan ko..

Foreigner pamo to.

"Good day sire!" ngiti kong sabi

Tumalikod ako at nakita ko na sinusundan nya yung kilos ko..hala.

Heto na..i'm standing at the front of her door...

I pressed the doorbell and i heared the doorknob..She was wearing her jacket, she really is sick.

"John?" her expression na nagulat sya.
