Chapter 5: The Journey

I left that mountain after I saw a demon he was known as the lower three. I hid my sword in the bag that I carry and I had to get back into society. I've been away for about 3 years just to train and so getting back into the groove of things might take it's time. Right now it's November and it's three more months till my birthday; which is February 28th. Anyway it was getting cold out, but I wasn't really affected by the weather. I was walking down to this town, when I saw this weak looking man with an orange and black patterned haori. He also had weird earrings that look rectangular with a sun in it?

"...Hey are you okay?" I asked as I walked up to him and put the back of my hand on his forehead.

He looked really sick and his forehead was really hot. I tried to wake him up, by tapping on him; he's still sleeping, so I slapped him not hard, but it did leave a mark. He started to wake up and move his hand to the place where I slapped him.

"So you're finally up"

"Did you really have to slap me?"

"Sorry, you weren't waking up; also if you didn't wake up from that I would have thrown you"

"I'll take the slap!" His face became serious when he said that.

"Where do you live so I can take you back?"

"..." he gives me a confused look.

"Look it's night time and two of you sick your family must miss you" I stated while pointing to the moon. He nodded and I put him on my back while I moved my bag in front of me. He led me to his house, but something that I hate the most arrived.

"Demon" I muttered, but he was able to hear what I said.

I put him down and the bag, then I brought out the sword and scabbard. I got into a fighting stance, then I waited for the demon to come out.

"Sorry, it looks like something is going to attack us"

"Are you a demon slayer?" The man asked and I gave a nod, because well I am killing demons.

"Hey hey hey, why aren't you two girls" The demon spoke as he came out of the bushes and he had large and long claws.

"I'm sorry to disappoint, but I'll kill you here and now"

"Lets see you can try"

We both dash at each other; He went for a horizontal slash, I backed and failed to realise it was a faint and did an upward slash on me. I flipped the scabbard and knocked away his other arm that was about to go and attack me. I got blood dripping and I looked like an idiot, then I used spirit eyes. The demon kept doing that attack for a little bit and then he stopped moving and looked at me.

"Is that all?"

"..."

"Not talkative huh?"

"..."

I charged at him with a plan, the demon went for a jab and I hit that with my scabbard. Then I used the sword and cut off his arm then I jumped behind him when he went for the other jab with his left arm.

"Moon breathing- [First Form: Dark Moon - Evening Palace]" I did a horizontal slash with moons that cut the demon's head and his arm he tried to defend against my attack. I then watch as the demon crumbles into dust and then I walk over to the man.

"Let's go" I stated, but he looked very worried.

"No, Let's fix that bleeding problem"

"It's fine-"

"Look, focus your breath to the cut and stop it from bleeding and to enhance your regenerative ability" and I followed what I said; I breathed in and felt it going to my cuts and I was able to heal it very quickly and stop it from bleeding.
