Ithilwen PoV

Once we were safely inside Bards home, the arrow that I took for Kili had long been taken out. But that was not what was worrying me, what was worrying me was that the wound on my shoulder had started bleeding again. Looking around I tried to ask Fili for help but he was busy worrying about Kili and his wound. Not wanting to worry him more, I looked for Bards daughter, Sigrid.

As soon as I found her, Bilbo said "You look like you've seen a ghost."

Looking to the hobbit, I saw that Thorin was looking out the window.  "That's because he has." Balin explained, coming beside the prince. Bilbo looked to him in curiosity, but as I listened to Balins tale, I was reminded of the day when he came back.

Screaming had waken a child Ithilwen, rubbing her eyes she got up from bed. Going out the door. All around servants were running back and forth carrying water and bandages. Ithilwen looked to where they were headed. Now fully awake, she began to run as fast as her little legs could carry her.

Legolas turned seeing his sister coming towards the door, "Wen-thel stay there!" he urged but she ignored him and continuing to run. Running to his sister, he picked her up. "Las-tor let me down, let me down!" she screamed, hitting his shoulder. "Wen-thel you need to go back to bed." he said going back to her room.

"NONONONONO! I want ada, I wanna see ada!" Ithilwen yelled, continuing to punch his shoulder. "ADA,  ADA!" she cried. Legolas sighed but yelped in pain as Ithilwen had started to bite his ear. "Ow,ow,ow,ow Wen-thel let go of my ear!"  her brother exclaimed pulling her away from his ear. Once he had pulled her away from his ear, she had then kicked him in the face.

Yelping he dropped, his sister. Landing on her bum she then ran to Thranduils chambers. "Wen-thel, get back here!" Legolas exclaimed, scrambling to get to grab his sister.

The young ellith entered the room but couldn't see past the flurry of servants so she quickly zig zagged between them. "Quickly bring more cold water and bandages!" Elrond yelled. A servant nodded as they went back out.

Coming to the outside where she was sure she could see between the flurry of servants, her eyes widened. Thranduil was gripping the covers, the left side of his upper torso and face were covered in bandages. The bandages were dyed in his blood. His screams were so loud now that she was inside the chambers. Elrond had a blue glow coming from his hand, where it was placed on his head. Tears started streaming down her face. "Ada!" she yelled. Elrond looked up, spotting the young princess.

Taking that as a sign to come over she was about to run to the two when Legolas caught her. "Las-tor let go, let go!" she ordered flailing her arms. Having a secure hold on his sister,Legolas bowed and ran out of the door, "Nonononono Las-tor put me down, put me doowwwwwwwnnn!" she yelled, tears streaming. "ADA, ADA!" she yelled, looking at her father who was still screaming.

Once Legolas was inside his sisters room, he placed her down and closed the door, locking it so she couldn't escape. "Las-tor, Ada needs me!" she exclaimed wanting to go to the door.

"Wen-thel, listen to me." he said grabbing her and placing her in front of him. "If you were there, and ada found out, he would only worry and do you want him to worry about you?" he asked. The young ellith shook her head. "No," she whimpered. Legolas smiled reassuring her as he wiped her tears away.
