James and Lily were watching silently and patiently for their son to wake up as he was still unconscious on the hospital bed in the hospital wing, they sat there for what it felt like hours before Remus came in to pick them up for the dinner feast, he lightly tapped his best friends shoulder to get his attention, James turned to his side to see Remus "James it's almost time to go you two need to eat please for Harry, he wouldn't want to see you skinny" Remus said as he pleaded in a low yet sincere tone, James understood and nodded in response.
James turned to Lily who was caressing their son's face with a smile, he told her that it was time to go, Lily understood and got up from her seat slowly and kissed her son on the forehead "we'll be back later my little fawn ok" Lily told her unconscious son in a whispering voice, James followed his Lily flower and brother outside of the hospital wing before glancing at their son one more time.
James, Lily, and Remus were about to take a turn when suddenly they heard 3 muffled voices calling their name, they ignored it at first but when the voices grew louder, they turned to see Sirius and Marleen in their direction and Alice on their opposite.
Sirius, Marleen, and Alice crashed into them and quickly bombarded them with words that the three cannot comprehend, James told them to slow down and one by one so that he, Lily, and Remus could understand them, and one by one they did Sirius and Marleen was first and told them what they heard from Severus and when they were finished Alice gone next and told them what Severus used on Harry.
James was beyond mad he was furious, he first asked Alice to take the vial to the hospital wing to get the antidote and asked Sirius and Marleen to get Dumbledore to tell their findings while he confronts Severus.
James marched into the corridors blazing in anger as he left the group while Lily followed trying to convince him saying "James stop I know your mad at severus, me too but think about Harry James if he even heard a whiff of what you're doing he'll hate you," she tried and tried to calm her future husband even for a little bit but to no avail as they both reached the great hall.
Everybody chatted away and as lively as it can be, with teachers talking amongst themselves about the students and the school, as the students and school staff talked nobody noticed James and Lily come in; James marched into the Slytherin table and grabbed Severus's robe from behind and dragged him out of the great hall.
As Severus was dragged out by James Lily scolded James and told him that he is making a scene, which everybody noticed when Severus struggled to get out of James's grip, everybody rose from their seats to see what was happening.
The rain poured from the school's courtyard as James threw Severus into the wet pavement with Lily in his tail, James soon followed as he lunged himself into Severus and punched him in the face, "YOU BLOODY BASTARD HOW DARE YOU! YOU MANIACAL SON OF A RAZORBACK!" James said in every punch, while every student at the school was by the doors now trying to get a glimpse of the fight.
Lily fought through the crowd as it was increasing, and when she went through, she quickly ran through the rain and quickly pulled James from his position to restrain him with little effort but was quickly followed by Remus who helped restrain James again before he could do any more damage than it already is.
Severus rose from the pavement groggily and wiped the blood from his lip, "You deserved it, Potter, in all my years you are my greatest challenge for Lily's heart, and adding your so-called spouse it made it even more challenging, and know that your spouse is what I heard dying it made my life a whole lot easier" he said smugly and took out his wand from his pockets and pointed at James and continued "and now Potter time for you to suffer" he was about to use his new spell on him which he created but was stopped by Dumbledore roared "ENOUGH!"
Everybody stopped and looked at Dumbledore as he walked hastily in their direction, everybody from the crowd parted when Dumbledore came into sight with Sirius, Marleen, and Alice behind him, they reached the fighting teens and quickly took Severus's wand, Dumbledore ordered everyone to be dismissed even Remus and Lily and told the two of them to dry up and immediately go to The Great Hall, Dumbledore looked at James and Severus in pure disappointment and told them in a roaring voice to follow him into his office.
