James and Lily reached the Griffin statue where Dumbledore's office is, they quickly threw a lot of answers to the gargoyle statue, then James said Sherbet Lemon which made the Gargoyle stepped on the side revealing a big staircase leading to the office, they reached the door with surprisingly no jokes or egoistic comments from James since they were so focused on the task at hand.

They did not know why they felt the sudden urge to hug him tight and protect him, but they quickly put those thoughts at the back of their minds as they were now in the doorway.

James slammed the door loudly which revealed Dumbledore in his desk while their transfiguration teacher and head of house Prof. McGonagall "Potter, Evans what is the meaning of this intrusion?!" McGonagall asked sternly at them "Apologies Professor but Madam Pomphrey wants you to head to the Hospital Wing Immediately we'll explain on the way" Lily explained, this made both professors worried, and quickly followed them.

James and Lily explained the situation to them with concerned voices, they were about a few doors away to reach the Hospital wing when they heard a loud thump, they quickly rushed to the doors of the Hospital wing.

Lily and McGonagall opened the door quickly to see Madam Pomphrey on the Ground sobbing uncontrollably with Madam Meliora trying to calm her down while she sobbed a little with papers on the floor.

Albus, James, Lily, and Minerva quickly rushed to Madame Pomphrey's side to get some answers "Meliora what happened?" Dumbledore questioned. Madame Meliora turned to the headmaster to explain "well you see after Madame Pomphrey used her wand to diagnose him, she quickly put it at this parchment which was two pages long which shocked her, she examined the results and she quickly got down on her knees and started sobbing uncontrollably then when I saw the results, I was shocked who would do this to a child? I thought then I started comforting her until you came."

Madame Meliora quickly gave the headmaster the results, Dumbledore examined the results which gave him a big shock he had to cover his mouth, McGonagall noticed this and quickly asked him what is wrong, he could not even make a sentence without stuttering at this point, so he simply gave Minerva the results.

McGonagall took the parchment with uneasiness, he stared at the headmaster before reading it aloud "Malnourishment, 2nd degree burns on the hand, back, and legs, whip marks-" it was a long list of diagnostics on the little boy was too much for McGonagall as she too was now sobbing as he stared at the headmaster.

James and Lily heard what their professor said which made them wide-eyed as they stared at the young boy sleeping in the hospital bed.

As Madame Pomphrey recovered slightly, she motioned to the boy and gave him a sleeping potion so that he could rest peacefully then removed his clothes.

As Madame Pomphrey removed the clothes it revealed several markings on the boy's body and how malnourished he was as they saw only some little skin but a lot of bones, which made McGonagall look away in shock as she silently cried.

Madame Pomphrey examined his back but quickly sobbed as they saw more markings and the scar on his back from what looked like a branding iron spelled Freak which made them more concerned about what happened to the little boy.

After Poppy changed him and treated his injuries the four of them returned to Dumbledore's office to discuss the boy, they all wanted answers about him, so Dumbledore pulled out a silver dish from the cabinets, he told the heads that this was a pensive and explained to them what it is and his plan to get information from the boy.

They all agreed to the headmaster's plan and quickly went to the hospital wing; they arrived at the hospital wing and quickly Dumbledore got a memory from the boy and placed it into the pensive.
