Sienna feels a weight being lifted off her shoulders as the various men and women exit the building, leaving all the higher-ups behind. She pushes her arms up, doing a little happy dance,
That's another gala without shots being fired!
She shakes her head wildly and lets her earrings make the noise for her, happy that she hadn't had to kill anybody yet. Soon enough Min comes into view, wearing a new suit, something that caught her eye. The jacket was the same, but the dress shirt and pants had changed. Her eyebrows furrowed together, praying that he had just spilled something on it,
"Why did you change?" She asks, poking the inside of her cheek with her tongue. He pulls out a gun and makes a bang noise, causing the size of Sienna's eyeballs to double,
"You killed someone?" She whisper shouts, even though they were the only ones currently in the hall. She sighs,
There goes the record.
"..Yes?" Min hesitates seeing Sienna's face, which looked like she wanted to kill him. He knew how important it was for Sienna to make sure that everything was running smoothly. She clicks her tongue and puts her hand on her waist, putting all the weight on one side of her body,
"Who was it? I swear, if it was one of our people then we're gonna have a problem." She stares at the man, mentally wanting to throw his symmetrical face into the fondue fountain. Min shakes his head, not wanting to bring up the dead man as a topic,
"It wasn't him." He mutters and Sienna tilts her head at him, confusion evident in her eyes,
"If it wasn't him, then who was it?"
"It was our besties, the Russians." Cai appears out of nowhere, his red shirt a nasty crimson color, no other indicator that makes him look like a murder.
"The Russians are back? I thought we already blackmailed them?" Max walks up, butting into the conversation. Sienna frowns,
The Russians had always been an issue, starting when she moved here.
The Russians were their own mafia group and rarely collaborated with the other mafias since they thought that they were superior. Ever since the Triad- ACE, EQUAL, and DARK, were formed, the Russians had wanted to get in on the turf. So the Triad- a small mafia group at the time, banded together and pushed the group of Versailles, becoming the most powerful mafias on the way. Ever since then, all of them hadn't valued the Russians as any sort of competition.
Sienna shakes her head, unable to wrap it around what was currently going on. She holds her hands out, walking down the stairs,
"I can't talk about this right now. I need a drink." She mutters, holding her head tenderly as she walks to the bar. Min raises his hand as well,
"I second that opinion." He mutters and Sienna scoffs at his statement,
Of course, he would, who could say no to a drink?
"Whatever, I'll join." Max throws all caution to the wind and Cai wordlessly follows. All of them pour a glass of scotch for each other. Min wiggles his eyebrows at both of the bosses,
"So how was our little brunette?" He asks, and Cai responds first, a soft smile on his face. He nods,
"She was something. A bit more quirky than I had thought." He sips the Scotch slowly, savoring the taste, unlike Min who was downing it without any sign of stopping. Sienna's eyes travel to the bandaid on his hands and points at it,
"I take it that this was her work?" She asks and Cai lifts his hand up to eye level, showing the others the bandaid and the design printed on it. Max bursts out laughing at the design that was on the bandage,
"Snow White!" He exclaims and Cai's eyebrows draw together as he cranes his arm to see that Tara had indeed put a Snow White bandaid on him. He puts his hand down, shrugging,
"Well look at that." He mutters and Sienna draws forward, surprised at the man's reaction,
"And you let her put it on you?" She asks, setting the glass down gently and sliding it into the trash with a quick push. Min squints his eyes at her,
"What did you want me to do? Ask, 'hey do you have another type of band-aid with you?'" He asks and she nods, heaving herself onto the counter,
"Pretty much."
Min sighs at Sienna's reaction, knowing that he could've refused the bandage as he would normally do. But there was something about her that made him regret doing that,
Maybe it was because he didn't want to hurt her feelings.
He shakes his head, getting rid of any excess thoughts, and decides to focus on Max, who seemed to be zoned out. He raises his eyebrows at him,
"What about you? What'd you think about Tara?" He asks, walking over to a couch and making himself comfortable over there. Max purses his lips since he hadn't really gotten to spend much time with her, it was really hard to determine anything about her personality. He shrugs, throwing anything out,
"She seemed super shy." He confirms the one thing about her and Min looks at him with his tilted,
"Really? Are you sure about that?" He butts into his statement, playing with one of his rings and spinning it around his pointer finger. Max bites his lip for a slight second,
"Yup." Min looks at him skeptically, sensing that something was wrong with his answer. His finger traces in top of his glass with a ghost-like touch,
"Funny, because when I had talked to her, she was outgoing and super welcoming." His deep voice was now lacking any emotion and Max could have sworn that he felt a shiver go down his back. Max opens his mouth to respond but Sienna cuts him off,
"She was, but this macho man over here-" She smacks his knee harshly, causing a wince to come out of his mouth. She continues, not caring about the wince,
"Decided to act all cool and she was frightened by his act." Cai blinks once, then twice, then slams the glass on the wooden table,
"YOU DID WHAT?"
