Chpater 19

Chase POV
When we arrived in front of Mayor Goodway she was looking quite disturb.

Ryder: "Hi Mayor Goodway we are here what's seems to be the trouble"

Goodway: "We'll it's best if you come see for yourself Ryder follow me"

Ryder: "Oh ok let's go pups

We hop off our vehicle and follow Mayor Goodway. She took us around town hall to a statue of a man which I think is her grandfather.

Goodway: "You see here this is a Satie of my grandfather who was once a mayor like myself"

Ryder: "Yeah what's seems to be the trouble then Mayor"

Goodway: "Well if you come on this side of the statue you'll see"

We walk around the statue and see huge claw marks on the face of it. It look exactly like the claw marks back in the forest.

Ryder: "Oh wow yeah that's looks bad"

Goodway: "I know I'm afraid some wild beast is in our town Ryder"

Ryder: "It could be just a bear who was lost Mayor Goodway but don't worry we'll take care of it"

Goodway: "Thank you Ryder"

Ryder: "Chase do you think you can pick it it's scent and Marshall once Chase got the scene do you think you can use your ladder and fix's the statue?"

Chase: "I could try Ryder"

Marshall: "I can repair the statue just need Chase to do his thing"

Chase: "Marshall can I use your ladder to get closer to the marks?"

Marshall: "Sure I'll go get my truck"

Marshall then left to get his truck a few minutes later he arrive. Then he bark up his ladder and I ran to it hop on and climb. I took some sniff of the claw marks.

Ryder: "You got the scent Chase?"

Chase: "Uh y-yeah Ryder I do ok Marshall you can fix it now"

As I got down from Marshall ladder I started to think about the scent. It's smells exactly like the creatures or wolves from the forest. I got really worried did they follow us here.

Ryder: "So you know what or who made those marks?"

Chase: (lied) "No Ryder I never smell this scent before"

Ryder: "You know where to follow the scent by any chance?"

I took a deep sniff then suddenly I smell the scent but I could also see it. Like a tiny path of fog floating in the air leading in a direction. I was confused of how I see but now is not the time.

Chase: "Yeah I know where to follow it went this way"

Ryder: "Alright let's get into our vehicles and see if this creature is still in this town"

We left leaving Marshall fixing the statue, we hop in our vehicles and I lead follow the scent. We drove past the train station following on the road. We drove for fifth teen minutes until the scent ends here we reach to a road that's leads out of town and to the forest.

Chase: "This is where the scent ends Ryder"

Ryder: "What this creature was out of town why would it come here"

Chase: "I don't know Ryder but I do know that the town is not safe until that creature is caught"

Ryder: "We got to warn the Mayor and keep a look out"
