Chapter 53

Rubble POV
I woke up peacefully by Rocky, I yawn for a bit and wonder what time is it. It was already dark and I check my bruises they were all healed I should thank Marshall for that. I got up and started walking around with Rocky watching me in case I fell. But I was doing good, I was back in shape.

Rocky: "Your back to normal"

Rubble: "Thanks to Marshall in fact where is he and everyone else"

Rocky: "Oh their here alright but um"

Rubble: "Did something happen?"

Rocky: "I don't really know myself Marshall, Chase, Skye and Everest are acting kind of weird lately"

Rubble: "Weird how?"

Rocky: "I don't know the girls haven't talk to them ever since their last chat and Marshall seems to not want to be next to Chase at all"

Rubble: "What happen while I was asleep?"

Rocky: "The rest of us don't even know I try asking them the girls said they'll tell us after we killed the alpha"

Rubble: "Mhmm maybe it's not important"

Rocky: "Yeah maybe"

Rubble: "Well still can't believe today the last day huh"

Rocky: "Yup after today you'll finally return back to Adventure Bay"

Rubble: "Yup can't wait to see the others, I want to know how did it feel knowing I was dead?"

Rocky: "Oh ha ha right yeah"

Rocky sounded nervous from my joke did he take it seriously?.

Rubble: "Sorry if that joke was to serious"

Rocky: "No ha ha it's fine

Rubble: "Ok good let's check with the others"

Rocky POV
As I follow Rubble to check in on the others I couldn't help but think. I completely forgot that we hide Rubble death in town, no ones knows he was dead. After four months we kept his death silent. I can't imagine telling him that we lied to everyone and that we didn't tell them he were dead. Who's know what he'll think of us.

We then found everyone else in the computer room also known as Team B room. Jane also looks like she fine and ready to go. But it was awkward when Rubble went next to Jane and not face her the same for Jane she did not face him.

Jane: "So we'll go to the spot where we met the wolves"

Rubble: "Then follow them to their alpha once you spot him and gotten close to him"

Jane: "Kill that son of a bitch"

Rubble: "Once the alpha is killed the wolves probably be confused and look for a new alpha"

Jane: "We need to get out of their quickly before the wolves make one of us the new alpha let them decide for themselves"

Rubble: "Then once team A return to home base we can finally end this whole problem for all of us"

Jane: "And you guys can finally return to your homes, everyone got that?"

Everyone: "Yes"

Jane: "Good team A get geared up and into your costumes, don't worry we'll make sure the costumes still looks good even if you have gear on"

Rubble: "Team B get into your gear as well and into positions, we still have our part to do as well"

Team A: "Right"

Team B: "Yes Sir"

We all then started getting ready for our big night. Jane and Rubble still didn't even look at each other through this entire time. I wanted to say something but there's no time for that. I got into my gear and then my costume. Lucky Jane is an expert and made me still look like a wolf even with gear on. She did the same for herself and Everest.

Chase and Marshall don't have gear because they are the weapon really with all that wolf strength and speed. Plus the full moon might even affected them too. Then it was time Team A started heading to Flat Hills. We all then made it to Flat Hills at the same spot but we showed up a little early to discuss the plan once again. As we waited we could see the full moon in the night sky.

Jane: "Our main job is to kill the alpha"

Chase: "We know we discuss this like over twenty times"

Jane: "Ok then no one screw up ok"

Everyone: "Ok"

Jane: "Nightwing as we enter the wolves den be sure to keep out of sight"

Skye: "Got that Blackbull"

Rocky: "Still with the names"

Everest: "Someone jealous they don't have a cool name Twig"

Rocky: "Hey I panic ok I thought what's the opposite of rocks"

Everest: "But Twig really?"

Rocky: "S-Shut up its only a temporary name nexts time I'll come up with a better one"

Everest: "What Sticks?"

Rocky: "No it would be even cooler like Rocket"

Everest: "Well you have to save that tell next if there's going to be a next Twig"

Everest then started chuckling and I hate admit but I chuckled with her. She's fun to have around but why ain't she and Marshall talking to each other. I could see Marshall looking at Everest. He really look sad like he want to tell her something.

Rocky: "So uh how come you and Marshall aren't talking to each other?"

Everest: "Oh uh something happen, something that I can't forgive"

Rocky: "What really what did he do?"

Everest: "I'll explain later after this, just for now let's focus on the mission"

Rocky: "Is it the same reason why Chase and Marshall aren't talking to each other either?"

Everest: "Yes"

Rocky: "Wow must be serious"

Everest: "Trust me it is"

*Beep*
"Heat sightings, something is heading your way"

That scared the hell out of me but lucky it was just the gear. Damn it also have a smart chip with a cool voice Damn Jane got to teach me that. But I think it's best to put the voice on mute for now. I could see the others doing the same thing. We all walk close to each and look around.

Rocky(Twig): "Again guys we know your there?"

Coby: "Damn It"

Then Coby, Rose and Mary finally showed themselves out of the bushes.

Coby: "Ugh you guys are good"

Rose: "Your all ready to met our alpha"

Jane(Slash): "Born ready"
