Chapter 24

Chase POV

Ryder: "Oh Skye he probably in his pup house maybe scared from these two I should go get him"

Skye: "No Ryder I check he's not in there all that is in there is a pile of blanket"

Rocky: "M-Maybe he's still on patrol-"

Skye: "We all went at the same time but we didn't see him when we left"

Zuma: "Yeah I was to focus on what happened I didn't notice it"

Everest: "To be honest I haven't even heard Rubble talk ever since camp"

Rocky: "The last thing I heard about Rubble was on movie night when you two said he didn't want to come"

Ryder: "So you two know Rubble is?"

I lowered my head and started crying, I try hold back but couldn't I cry and cry and I could hear Marshall crying too. The pups and Ryder got confused and worried they get closer to us try to calm us down.

Ryder: "Woah woah guys calm down what's wrong?"

Zuma: "Why are you dudes crying we just ask where's Rubble"

Rocky: "Yeah it's no big deal I'm pretty sure we can find him using Ryder pup tag tracker on his pup pad"

Everest: "Yeah I don't see why you two are crying"

Ryder: "Let me get my pup pad"

Skye: "Wait Ryder I think I know why their crying"

Rocky: "Really what is it Skye?"

Skye: "I hope it's not what I think it is I really do hope"

Skye came closer to us with some tears in her eyes. Which just made me feel even more worse.

Skye: "Did you guys k-kill him?"

*Gasp*

Everest: "Skye why would you think about that no they wouldn't"

Zuma: "Didn't they almost try kill us last night?"

Everest: "Yeah but they didn't"

Rocky: "Because of Ryder if he didn't shoot them with a tranquilizer dart then we would have been died"

I then started to see Everest tearing up to then soon Ryder. He drop to his knees again and starting take some breath.

Ryder: "Guys what happen to Rubble"

I started crying again I try to speak but my tears and hard breathing block me. Marshall try to speak to but was to sad right now. Soon every pup started to cry a bit worrying about him.

Skye: "What Happen To Rubble?"

Marshall/Chase: "WE ATE HIM!!"

Chase: "We didn't mean to eat him he figured out our secrets at night back at camp while we went out and hunt a deer, he said he will hide it from you guys too, we were good until our fucking hunger take in and everything went black and and and next thing we wake up we saw his arm only his arm we look at each other covered in blood on our mouths then I cough out his pup tag and and and"

Marshall: "And that's when we know we fuck up we killed him we god damn killed him our team member our brother"

I collapsed on the ground start crying my eyes out. Marshall stood up crying leaning on his cage.

Ryder: "No no No it can't be"

Zuma: "He's been dead since camp and we-we didn't notice oh my god I feel so fucking stupid right now"
