Yes, I deserve a spring- I owe nobody nothing.

Reyyan was nervous, this much she was willing to admit. Though her father had always been affectionate, he had never sided with her instead of her Dede. She was scared that this time won't be any different. 'No, you have to at least try' she told herself as she dialled her father's number at the local telephone box. She had walked a little further from the house, as Melissa insisted, to avoid anyone tracking them.

Her hands shook as she waited for him to ick up. All kinds of horrible insults and taunts whirled in her mind, that little voice in her whispering the most horrendous things that could have happened, but she didn't falter; she had to do this. The sooner they found out everything, the better.

"Hello?"

"Baba.... Reyyan ben," her voice shook.

"Reyyan!!! Allah Aşkina Reyyan! Where are you??!!! All of us are going insane here!! Why did you run away like that??!?! What w- "

"Baba look, I don't have a lot of time, but ill tell you: I ran away because Miran is not who he says he is. His real name is Miran Aslanbey, and he already has a wife. The only reason he wanted to marry me was revenge. He is scamming your company"

"Aslanbey? ... Olmaz..."

Reyyan stilled, what if the accusations were true? "Baba do you know him??? Do you know who the Aslanbeys are. Please baba I'm not lying believe me."

Hazar spoke after a while. "Kizim, I know you are not lying. I think I know how to handle this. I promise I will bring you home."

"Tamam baba I have to go now." Reyyan quickly shut down the phone, close to tears with the realisation that her father's promise was only a beautiful dream. She had a feeling that her Dede was never going to let her return even if this was resolved; she was on her own for the foreseeable future, she thought as she headed to the post office.

.........

He had been keeping an eye on Hazar and Zehra, as Nasuh bey had instructed him, because he said that Reyyan will contact them sooner or later. Hazar had been out of the house most of the time, trying to convince the police to look for his daughter, despite them reaching a dead-end every time, which convinced him that the girl didn't do this alone. Although it was difficult, he also extracted a record of Hazar's and Zehra's phone calls to see if there were any unusual numbers calling him. So far, he found nothing and was about to give up when a number with Adana code (322) caught his eye; Hazar had picked up the call and talked to the person for a while, indicating that it was someone he knew. Harika! He had to chase this lead to finish this job.

......

Miran was seriously going to end up killing all these idiots.

"How hard it is tO TRACK DOWN ONE MISSING GIRL!!!" IT HAS BEEN WEEKS AND THERE IS NOT A SINGLE IDEA WHERE SHE IS!!"

"Miran bey we have contacted the local airports and international airports. Reyyan hanim has not checked in any of them, which confirms she is still in Turkey. We will find her soon don't please- "

"I don't want her soon I WANT HER NOW!! I have given you fools enough time!!"

"Miran bey we are trying our- "

"Out of here, nOW!!"

The team head sighed as he left the room. Miran was losing his mind thinking about where she was. A small, masochistic part of him would really like to believe that she was 'taken' from him, and he was her knight in shining armour trying to rescue her, but he knew that was not the case. She had escaped from him; he just couldn't figure out why. His first instinct was, of course, that Gonul had told her his plan, but after scolding and shouting at her for hours, he realised she didn't. So why did she run? He thought his façade was flawless and she was head-over heels for him. No something must have gone wrong. Someone must have told her, he thought as he looked at his phone, dialling Reyyan's number, hearing the ringing tone fade time after time. It was the same every time; she never picked up.

She was not here.

She might never be.
