House Owner: "I MAY BE OLD, BUT YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO DISRESPECT ME"
Mark: "Um sir-"
House Owner: "I NEED YOU TO VACATE MY HOUSE"
Mark: "Wut-"
House Owner: "BE GONE BY TOMORROW MORNING"
Mark: "Sir I thought I had a notice period of 2 months-"
House Owner: "OI, SHUSH. DON'T TRY TO PLAY GAMES WITH ME MARKINGSON"
What the fuck just happened-
I was beyond confused. Maybe the old man was drunk? But I'm not the type of person to cause trouble, so I'll slip out quietly I guess. I only had a week left here anyway. I was invited to give a lecture at NEO University, I might as well move to NCity permanently. I heard it's a nice place to live in. Calm but enthralling. I have a few offers from there, and my publishers are in NCity, moving there makes things easier ig.
But most importantly, would a change of scenery help me finish the series?
