Chapter 12: norenmin

3rd person POV

"Hey Renjun!"

"Hey?"

"I'm Jeno"

"What's up?"

"Wanna have coffee together?" 

And before they knew it, they were talking about the most random ass things. 

"Oh and by the way, what happened that night? The coffee spilling and stuff?"

"Well, I happened to be walking PEACEFULLY one day, when this random dude bumped into me. He poured his coffee on my hoodie. One, it was freaking hot. Two, he ruined it. It was a gift from one of my first students, back when I first opened the studio. So I was pretty upset about it."

"That makes sense. You scared tf outta that guy though-😭"

"HJASKA I DIDN'T MEAN TO- I want to apologize for bursting out like that, but I don't know how to approach him after that incident"

"We'll see about that, after all we will be seeing each other often around here"

Renjun and Jeno start chatting away. They came to one particular topic, college days. 

"The fact that all 5 of us went here, but none of us know each other sends-"

"I KNOW RIGHT, like I don't remember at all, but I feel like I do.."

"Wait Renjun, do you remember that dude who woke up in the middle of the night thinking it was morning but then it was 12am and then he ever so sincerely went to the lecture room, waited there for 30 mins and fell asleep there, and woke up the next morning?"

"HAHAHAHAHAHHA I TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT THAT, I have HUGE respect for that dude, love the sincerity. I heard a teacher threw a freaking mop on that guy because she thought he was dead or something😭✋🏻"

"I was that dude"

"Huh-"

"I was the one who did the impossible :')"

"YOU'RE THAT JENO? AS IN THE FOOTBAL CAPTAIN JENO??"

"Bingo✨" 

And that's when Renjun lost it. After 56 'Are you ok's, Renjun recovered from his laughing fit. 

They continue talking about their freshmen years, and Jeno recognizes Renjun from the sports club. Everyone was allowed to enroll in two clubs, and Renjun who lead the Dance club, was forced to take the Sports club even though he wanted to sign up for Art. 

There were no regrets, because those days were pure chaos. No one understood anything, but everyone went with the flow~

After half an hour, Jaemin makes an entrance. He had to postpone breakfast as he got caught up with some work. He proceeded to sit in a corner when Renjun decided to call him over. 

"Hey Jaemin, over here!" 

"Um, Renjun, sorry about your hoodie-"

"It's fine, I was just mad that day, but it's all good now", Renjun said, cutting him off.

Jaemin was relieved. He wasn't the type of person to not clear up things. 

"I bought you a new one" 

"You didn't have to, but thank you~" 

Jaemin looked over at Jeno, who was smiling at them. 

"WAIT A SECOND, ARE YOU *THAT* JENO?"

Here we go again. 

After another round of laughing and catching up, they head back to their rooms. 

There was something different brewing up on the other side. 

Jieun POV 

"Pfft- that was easy af"
