The student council welcomed the guests, and every one headed inside.
The opening ceremony began with the welcome speech. The events for the first night went by smoother than butter.
Chenle loved Jisung's performance. He always had a thing for dance, but he decided to take up business.
It was 9:30, when the ceremony ended. The students retired to their dorms to get things ready for tomorrow. Chenle wanted to congratulate Jisung for receiving a standing ovation from the audience, but the president had one last task. He had to take the guests to their accommodation. They would be staying there until the exhibition was over.
Chenle gave them a quick tour of the whole place. It wasn't an official tour, just a small look-around.
"I must say, not much has changed since we graduated", Haechan pointed out, while the other guests nodded in agreement.
Mark shared a memory he'd just recollected. "I remember the time when I had to escort the guests, they were like years older, all very um, fancy people? It was hilarious watching them walk around clueless, when I WAS STANDING RIGHT THERE"
Everyone burst into laughter. Mark seemed like a nice guy, with a dorky personality. He laughed at his own jokes more than anyone else.
Things got awkward when they were heading towards the guests' lounge.
Should I say something, Chenle thought, but one of the guests read his mind.
"Hey kid we never got your name", Mark said, breaking the ice.
"I'm Chenle!"
"I'm guessing we'll be in contact with you often, president?", the blonde guy teased.
"Haha, most probably"
"Then let's introduce ourselves properly. We don't know each other personally, and I'm assuming you don't know any of us either, hehe", the blondie said, looking at the others.
"Na Jaemin, head cinematographer at LEE Entertainment. I model on the side."
"Hey I'm Huang Renjun, choreographer at Huang Studios, and language tutor"
"Yoo I'm Mark, nice to meet y'all! I'm an author. I produce/write music occasionally."
"I'm Lee Haechan, housing, marketing and management consultant at Lee Firm"
"Heyy I'm Jeno Lee, founder of and doctor at 젠호프 Hospital"
Chenle was taken aback. Their introductions were a line each, yet they amazed him.
"Well, I'm Chenle, from the business department. I don't have much to say apart from that, haha. Oh- here we are. This is were you guys will be stayin-"
"HEY WAIT A SECOND", Renjun shouted, scaring the daylight out of everyone.
