Chenle POV

Jisung seemed starled by the sudden question.

"Who are you hiding from?", I asked again.

"Uh no one?", he lied evidently.

Noticing his discomfort, I decided to switch topics. He looks all intimidating and shit, but in reality he's a big squishy.

"Anyway, you wanna hangout during the opening ceremony?"

"Oh, I'll be performing a solo"

"Right, the fine arts departments go first. That's fine, meet me after you finish"

"O-ok?"

He looked pale, probably from all the running he did a few minutes back, but don't dancers rest before performances?

He's probably messing around with his friends.

I barely even know this kid and I'm already worried about him. I have to join the others from the council in 2 hours. I was busy with the café, so I didn't have time to catch up. They'd given us a sheet with all the special guests and the list of events, but I lost it-

"Hey Jisung"

"Yes?"

"Do you know who's gonna be here tonight?"

"If I remember correctly, Renjun - choreographer, Mark - author, a consultant, a doctor/actor and a cinematographer/model. I don't remember the other people's names. Apparently they all graduated a while back."

"Interesting. I'll see ya later cutie"

I laughed as the tall but smoll boi got flustered. I was going to adopt him.

I was forced to run for president of the council. I never really wanted to participate in the elections, but here we are. I reached our meeting room.

Great. I'm the last one here.

"Tsk tsk head of the council and the last to arrive. It's a shame that a sophomore like you won by a few votes. They should've left it to the seniors-"

"Shut up Jieun, no one asked", I replied nonchalantly. She was pissed, which was exactly what I wanted. Jieun's a witch, but she has her own charms. Once you know her, you'll curse yourself for breathing the same air as her.

"So I was busy with my stuff, anyone care to update?", I asked.

30 mins later

Everything was set. It was 5:20pm, the opening ceremony was at 6:00, so I still had a bit of time in hand.

Jisung would be in his green room, Mijun is probably busy with the tech dep.

I knew all 5 of the guests who were to attend this years exhibition. Well not personally, but I've seen them on the news a couple of times. Mark's books are definitely my type of reads. Unfortunately this wasn't a fan-sign.

"OH SHIT WE NEED TO MEET THE GUESTS"

I dashed down the hallway, accidently bumped into someone, got juice on my shirt, went to change into a spare shirt, realized I forgot my blazer, went to get the damn blazer, and finally run to the front office.

5:34, 1 more minute and I'd be screwed.

This is one thing I disliked about being the president. I always, always, always had to arrive first.

Mijun looked at me and mouthed, 'right on time' and gave me a thumbs up. Jieun rolled her eyes at me, and the other council members lined up.

Everything was going to be absolutely perfect.
