The beatdown happened a few days before the start of the winter break. Those few days I stayed in Naman's room, with Aditya and the boys, to avoid Raghav. Aditya didn't want this to happen again, and every one of the boys knew self-defense. They were all North Indian, so of course, they did.
I finally did have to get back to my room, to retrieve my stuff to leave. I was scared that Raghav would be there ready to give me another beating. I pondered this in a café, in front of this random girl. "I will beat him down with a chair and get my stuff back", I plotted out loud. Sure enough, her boyfriend came over a minute later and asked me if I was on drugs. I simply up and left. Walked over to my room. Raghav wasn't someone patient enough to wait outside my room that long. I took my stuff in my suitcase and took a bus to the airport.
The Jaipur airport was not crowded, not at all. There weren't any waiting lines more then a few people long. I could see several people from Manipal University Jaipur. Shashwat Dhawan was among them, I went to talk to him for a bit. Took a serving of Air Toast, and a couple hours later boarded my plane to Navi Mumbai.
The plane took a couple of hours to reach Mumbai, and the taxi to Navi Mumbai was another 1 and a half hours before I finally reached my house. My dad had previously promised that he wouldn't be angry at me.
The thought of beating up Raghav did not leave my head. I would walk around showing off recordings on my phone of Raghav and his ridiculous rage to the kids playing on the streets. Bragging that I would beat him to hell when I got back.
