Chapter 19: For the Record

Third Person Pov

"Yeji can we talk?", Chaeryeong looked at Yeji making the girl flustered.

"Sure.", Yeji smiled.

Yeji sighed as she goes closer to Chaeryeong. She sat beside her waiting for the latter to talk.

"Do you like Ryujin?", Chaeryeong asked straight to the point.

She just wants to tell and ask everything she wants. There's no need to hesistate.

Yeji got suprised by that question, "Y-Yes. I like her.", Yeji replied.

Chaeryeong nodded and both of them just stared at the TV in front of the sofa.

"Can you just give me Ryujin?", Chaeryeong seriously said without hesitating.

Chaeryeong is thinking she should not waste this opportunity. She's thinking she should fight for Ryujin.

Since the feelings are mutual.

Yesterday, the whole night Chaeryeong thought about what she's going to say to Yeji. She gathered enough courage to say this now.

Yeji got taken back to what she said. Yeji didn't know what to say. She can't even say Yes immediately.

"I don't want to lose her.", Chaeryeong continued. "I don't want to see Ryujin with somebody else. I-I l-love her."

Yeji just continued listening to her. This is the first time they had a serious talk and the first time they talked about their feelings.

Chaeryeong waited for Yeji's reply and she understands that the taller girl can't easily reply. She knows Yeji was taken back.

"You can take your time. But I hope you consider what I said.", Chaeryeong tapped Yeji's shoulder and smiled. She added, "Ryujin and I, the feelings are mutual."

Yeji just blinked a few times.

"Someone is also waiting for the right time to love you.", Chaeryeong seriously said at Yeji.

There are alot of questions inside Yeji's head. She can't say anything to her. She's taken back.

Yeji was cut off when Lia, Yuna and Ryujin went inside. Chaeryeong and Yeji just smiled at them and pretended they weren't talking about something.

Lia looked at Chaeryeong who's asking 'did it go well?'. Ryujin on the other hands just stared at Chaeryeong.

Chaeryeong just nodded at Lia.

"Ryeong and I will go home.", Ryujin suddenly talked.

Lia and Yeji are suprised while Yuna remained silent.

"Already? It's still early though.", Lia muttered and pointed the clock that says 8pm.

Ryujin nodded. "Yeah, we need to talk.", Ryujin stared at Ryeong who's confused.

Ryujin pulled Ryeong outside and didn't talk. She just made her ride the motorcycle. Chaeryeong wanted to ask why they'll go home early but she just remained quiet.

They arrived at home and Ryujin is still not talking. Chaeryeong just followed her behind until they went inside.

"Ryu, why are you not talking?", Chaeryeong talked.

The latter just ignored her.

"Hey! Are you mad?", Chaeryeong pulled Ryujin and grabbed her shoulders. Ryujn just stared at her without saying anything.
