Chapter 4: Gimbap

Chaeryeong Pov

"Yah Ryeong! You saw that earlier right? I made Yeji smile!" Ryujin jumped in front of me clapping her hands like a seal.

I shaked my head and went pass her. "I saw that. Good job, you finished one of my missions quickly."

"I told you! I'm a big help for you." Ryujin placed her hands on my shoulders walking with the same pace with me.

"Right."

"Let's go back to our class." Ryujin smiled at me running towards our room.

"I should really make her fall in love with Yeji." I whispered.

That's my plan for now. To make Ryujin fall in love with Yeji. If Ryujin is the one who made Yeji smile she's also the one who can make Yeji love herself. Overall she's the only one I need to end this mission.

"Yah, Ryu! Let's follow Yeji to her house." I pulled Ryujin from her seat and went out of the room.

"Wait! Wait! Don't pull me okay?" Ryujin annoyingly said.

I let go of her hand and stared at her seriously. "Don't be mad. I'm sorry." I smiled.

She let out a sigh, fixing her backpack. "Let's go. We might miss Yeji if we're going to stand here."

Following Yeji, we rode Ryujin's motorcycle. We arrived at a subdivision, quietly walking behind Yeji. There are a lot of houses here but most of it are not sold yet. Like I can only see five houses with their lights on including Yeji.

Yeji stopped at a white house. She grabbed from her pocket her house key and opened it.

"Ryeong! Are we just going to watch her?" Ryujin tapped my shoulders asking for attention.

"Do you want to come inside her house?" I asked her rolling my eyes. Knocking on Yeji's door tonight will make her think we followed her.

"W-well... T-that's the r-reason why we're here right?" Ryujin forced a smile asking me.

"No. You're wrong. We're just going to find out where she lives." I stood up hiding behind Yeji's fences.

Ryujin also stood up following me outside the subdivision. "We'll go here tomorrow morning." I simply said walking quietly.

"Why?"

"We're going to do something. I mean you specifically." I pointed my finger to her smirking.

"Yah! Why am I going alone here tomorrow! I don't agree with what you're planning!" Ryujin whinned stomping her feet.

"You can't do anything about it. You said you wanted to help so do everything I ask." I laughed.

"Don't worry, your task tomorrow is just simple. Not dangerous." I assured her.

"Okay. Okay, I trust you." Ryujin sighed. She must be feeling defeated right now. She agreed in this mission so she'll follow me. I'm the boss.

Waking up with the sound of the alarm. I stretched my hands sitting on the bed. I woke up early today because I must do something.

Ryujin is probably sleeping right now. It's too early to wake up, it's just 5 am in the morning.

Fixing my clothes and my hair I went outside my room and went to the kitchen opening the fridge.

"Hmmm, what should I cook?" Staring at the fridge I saw eggs, rice, kimchi and some veggies.

I took all of it. I'm planning on making kimchi gimbap for Ryujin and Yeji. Cooking for those two lovebirds, I mean to those FUTURE lovebirds.

The reason why I'll make Ryujin go to Yeji's house is to bring this food to her. I'm sure Yeji will ask Ryujin to eat with her. Yeji is softhearted behind her cold aura.

Turning the stove on and wearing the apron Ryujin wore I started to cook. I first made kimchi fried rice with oil, kimchi and the left over rice. After that I made scrambled eggs and fried again the left over bulgogi I saw in the fridge.

Gimbap is one of the two things I can cook. Gimbap and seaweed soup. Yuna thought me how to cook when we're both here for our missions.

I went outside to buy some dried sheets of seaweed for the kimbap. The morning air is cold so it's nice to walk on the quiet streets.

Arriving at Ryujin's house I made the gimbap and placed it in a container. Cleaning the kitchen I heard footsteps coming upstairs. Ryujin is probably awake.

"Ryeong! Are you cooking?!" Ryujin shouted running down the stairs.

"I'm done. I made gimbap." I showed the food container and smiled at her.

"I didn't know angels can cook." Ryujin yawned stretching her arms.

Removing my apron I went to my room. "Don't try to eat the gimbap I made! You'll eat it with Yeji!" I reminded her before going inside.

"What?! Chaeryeong?! Yah! Chaeryeong?! Did I heard it right?" Ryujin knocked at my door shouting.

"I'm going to eat with Yeji?" Ryujin shouted outside the door.

"Ryujin! You heard it right! Don't even try to whine!" I shouted back laughing at her.

Ryujin whined and shouted. She's loud I could hear her inside this room.

"Stop whining Ryujin!" I shouted. Ryujin stopped and the house is silent again.

After taking a bath I went outside my room. I saw Ryujin sitting at the table staring at me seriously.

"I won't go there." Ryujin said with her shard eyes staring at me.

"You'll go there." I answered back.

I went near her and gave her the lunchbox. "Go now, so you'll have enough time with Yeji."

"No! I said I won't go there!" Ryujin shouted. I covered my ears since she's near me. Gosh, this girl wants to make me mad.

I pulled her from her sit and made her go out of the house. "Wear the helmet, I'll take you there." I gave Ryujin the helmet and she looked at me with hesitation.

"I know how drive, okay? I never said I can't. Don't be scared." I started the engine and Ryujin held onto my waist.

"Don't go fast, Ryeong. I-I'm s-scared." Ryujin whispered stuttering.

I placed her hands to my waist tightly. "Don't worry, I'll keep you safe.

When we arrived at the subdivision where Yeji lives we saw no one in the area. We arrived at Yeji's house 6:30 in the morning. It's still quite early since our classes starts at 8. Ryujin and Yeji still have time to eat together.

I pushed Ryujin in front of Yeji's door. "Knock then tell Yeji to eat with you." I instructed her.

"Do you think this is simple?" Ryujin rolled her eyes anxiously looking at the door.

"You can do it. You'll just eat with her nothing's scary with that." I tapped her shoulders and smiled trying to calm her down.

I clicked the door bell and started to walk away.

"You can do it Ryujin! Eat well with Yeji!" I waved my hand at her who's staring at me panicking.

"I'm hoping this goes well." Slowly walking away from the subdivision I looked back and saw Yeji who's talking to Ryujin right now.

They'll eat together. Yeji won't have the guts to make Ryujin go away.

Both of them will go to school together today because I'll go alone. I must text Ryujin about this or else she might get really angry at me later.

To Ryujin:

Go to school with Yeji. I'll go alone with your motorcycle. Enjoy the ride with her :)

This should do it. This is one step closer for them to get closer. For them to fall in love.
