Gon:

• having good hearing, gon would wake up to your crying/whimpering

⋆｡˚. "sweetie? listen to my voice ok? i'm right here with you."

• no matter how bad the nightmare was, gon won't leave you alone until you're asleep again

• will wipe away your tears as you calm down, whispers reassuring words

⋆｡˚. "it was all a dream y/n. i'll always be here to protect you."

• if you can fall back asleep, he'll tightly hold you and give you small kisses all over your face

•if you can't fall asleep, he'll take you on a small walk near a pond to try and clear your mind

• here you'll both try and catch fireflies, and just have a good time at like 2 in the morning <3

• gon will stay up as long as he physically can until you fall asleep (will and has fallen asleep before you on accident.)

• hugs you while rubbing your back, doesn't know much about comforting people so he does what gon would do for him

• once you've calmed down, he'll wipe away any tears you still have and laugh at you for crying

⋆｡˚."fine fine, sorry i laughed. but besides that, are you feelin okay angel?"

• will stay up with you until you fall asleep, no matter how long you stay awake

• when you fall asleep, he'll have his hand gently rubbing your head
