Alex's POV
I say "ok, what do you think?" Mom says "you look hot" and I say "thanks, mom" chuckling as I wing my eyeliner out and I do mascara and nude lipstick that's dark enough that it'll show up on Jack later but its natural so it doesn't stick out too much. I bite my lip as I put heels and a couple bracelets on and mom says "ok, you're good, don't do anymore other than maybe deodorant" and I say "good plan" and we chuckle. I make sure I'm wearing the lingerie underneath that I wanted to be wearing and I get ready to leave. Mom says "ok, go, I'm going on a date and I think I'm getting laid so I won't be back" and I say "just don't come back, I have needs" and mom says "deal" and we chuckle. I leave and I go to this dance and I find May and she says "you look really good" and I say "thank you, so do you" us smiling and we go into the gym for this dance. We walk into Rian and Zack talking and Rian says "I bet he's still working on his hair" and Zack says "Jack will take forever if he is worrying about his hair" and I chuckle saying "I'm sure he'll be just fine, he gets to school on time every morning." Zack says "if your on time is ten minutes late than sure" but he's dreamy, Zack, you wouldn't get it and he gets his work done. I say "it's school, as long as you get your work done, it doesn't matter if you show up" shrugging and Zack says "you're crazy." I say "how did I pass freshman year the first time and I barely showed up?" Rian says "I think he's right" and I say "sorry, I'm being snappy, I'm anxious" and Rian says "you're fine, its ok" smiling and May says "why so anxious?" Well, I'm not going to tell her, your dreamy older brother is hot and I'm hoping to get a dance, get kissed and get laid by him all in the same night, which is the truth. I say "I just am I guess" shrugging cause Jack and Is thing is not really a secret but no one has made a move so tonight, if he doesn't make any of the moves, I'm going to. He's so cute. I need to stop and just chill out. I bite my lip and Jack comes in and that's when I swear everything stops, my heart, everyone around us, wow, I'm gonna have fun taking a button up off later. I mumble "hot" biting my lip and May hits me upside the head and a bunch of girls go up to Jack and he plays nice guy which makes me smile but he declines all of them. He is so hot. I just stare at him and he nods at me and talks to Rian and Zack briefly and he rolls his sleeves up and I go over saying "how'd your dance tutorial go, Rian?" We laugh and Rian says "I'm waiting till prom, I gave up" and Jack says "what tutorial were you watching? I got a five minute one and I'm pretty great" and we laugh and Rian says "guess I got the wrong one" and we laugh and Jack says "maybe you did" and we chuckle. Zack says "that's quite the crash course, Jack" and Jack says "for sure" and we chuckle and we just stand in a circle and May and I are just dancing around boredly. The guys just watch us as we dance to popular songs that they're playing and I say "I don't even like this song" as they play a newer Ariana Grande song and we laugh. I bite my lip and an hour into the dance they play a slow song and Jack comes over to me saying "you dancing with anyone?" I say "I don't know, I was thinking maybe I'd ask Zack or Rian or something" and he puts his hand out saying "you sure?" I say "nope" giving him my hand and he pulls me onto the floor and he leads and I smile saying "for that crash course you took, this is pretty good." He smiles saying "learned from the best" and I say "how flattering I try" rolling my eyes and we chuckle. His hand goes to my lower back and I move one of my hands to the back of his neck and I stare into his eyes saying "I feel like I'm about to get paid to get laid in a five star hotel" and we laugh. He says "so, I'm doing it right?" I chuckle saying "yes you are" biting my lip and I say "you aren't just doing this to get laid right?" Jack says "I could ask you the same thing" and I say "I'm not" and he says "I'm not either" and I say "great" against his cheek and I mumble "this is really good" smiling. He says "you look really good" biting his lip and he says "you really weren't kidding about this short skirt though" and I smile saying "no one's home tonight, I want you to take it off of me." He says "I like that idea" and I actually listen to the song and I say "are they playing Death Cab For Cutie?" We chuckle and he says "I think so" biting his lip. Its I Will Follow You Into The Dark by Death Cab For Cutie and I say "is this our song?" Jack says "are we that cliche?" I say "yes" and we chuckle and he says "I guess this is our song then" and he rubs my back slowly and I say "we danced in my kitchen for two hours yesterday, I don't think it gets anymore cliche than that unless were kissing in the rain." I stare into his eyes and when the song ends he kisses me and I just take it slow and I take it all in.
