Alex's POV
I say "they don't touch me here, they just stare and they aren't good at flirting here" and we laugh and Josh says "I'm not mentally prepared for the mainland yet" and we laugh. I say "it's not that bad, people don't do like anything on the weekends though like they don't go out, apparently there's an age limit to party." Josh says "we've partied more than slept since we were like six" and I say "I was getting all the ladies back then" and we laugh. Josh says "Alex peaked at ten" and I laugh saying "I haven't peaked yet, shut up" and he says "no, you haven't" and we chuckle. I say "oh my god, there was a school dance yesterday, yeah, they have those here and no one dances except when a slow song comes on then they awkwardly sway with their significant others. It's a disgrace" pulling away from Jack and I put my phone on speaker and I hear Oli say "that's a mainland thing, they all awkwardly sway over there, if you can dance it's impressive, you don't gotta be good my love." I say "yikes, they should change their ways" and we laugh and Josh says "if anyone could it would be you, everyone misses you here, ok, were going to bed, we wanted to talk to you" and I say "oh my god, its four in the morning there, go to bed" chuckling. He says "its island time, I got all the time in the world" and I chuckle saying "bye, love you" and he says "I love you too" and we hang up. I turn to Jack saying "wanna shower with me?" He checks me out saying "I don't know, I haven't decided yet" and I roll my eyes and I pull him to my bathroom. We shower and he takes his sweet time moving his hands over me while I wash my hair. I smile and he says "you're hot" and I smile, kissing him saying "you're hot" and he kisses me softly. We get dressed and I say "boy, where'd you get those clothes from?" He says "my backpack" and I say "I think I was too distracted by you to even notice it" and he chuckles, kissing me and I put short shorts on and a crop top and Jack says "mmm, you look so hot" and I chuckle, putting on a couple necklaces. Jack says "mmm, your hot" and I chuckle, shaking my head and we go downstairs as he fixes his hair and I say "why were you late yesterday?" Jack says "I was doing my hair" and I chuckle saying "that's what Rian said but I wasn't sure" and he says "surprised Rian said that and not, oh he's probably having a breakdown" and I chuckle. I say "is that normally what's happening?" He says "yes" and we laugh and he kisses my cheek and we go to the kitchen and mom is talking to this guy as she dances around while she cooks. Jack and I sit at the kitchen counter and mom says "hey, boys, what's up?" I say "nothing much, what are you doing?" She says "I'm making pancakes cause I wanted pancakes" and I say "and who's that?" She says "I'd like to ask you the same thing" and I put my hands up saying "I asked first" and she says "dammit, this is Austin, my boyfriend" and I say "damn, mom, I knew we worked fast but not one night stand fast. I didn't know that was allowed to happen" and we chuckle and mom says "we've been talking for a couple months." I say "we've been here for two days!" Mom says "there's this thing called online, old man" and I say "no shit, I'm not that bright in the morning" rubbing my forehead and she says "no shit" and Jack hugs me from behind saying "I think you just got owned by your mom." I say "you're cute but that's certainly not stopping me" and he says "I'm sure it isn't" and we chuckle and Jack rubs my back and mom says "this heat is killing me, all I do is sweat here." I chuckle saying "maybe you should find something to do then to not focus on how much sweating there is to do here." She says "no, sweating is my new hobby" and we chuckle and Jack says "I think that's my sisters hobby, she doesn't do much" and we chuckle. I hip bump Jack and he does it back saying "what do you wanna do?" I say "I don't know, what do you wanna do?" He says "we could walk around till we get heat stroke" and I say "I like that idea, let me go change" and he hugs me from behind saying "but you're cute." I say "Jack, the shorts will be shorter" and he lets go of me saying "you do you" and I chuckle and I go upstairs and change into a skater skirt that is pretty short. Jack says "glad I let you change" checking me out and I chuckle, rolling my eyes and I put converse on and we go outside and we walk around. He pulls his notebook out and I say "I've been wondering where that was, it's been awhile since I've seen it" and Jack chuckles saying "its always there just not when you're looking for it." I chuckle saying "I guess you're right" kissing his cheek as he writes a lot of stuff down then he puts it away and holds my hand. I bite my lip and I look up at him saying "what are you doing?" He says "holding your hand, do you not want me to?" I say "no, I like it, what are you thinking about?" He says "you" and I kiss him saying "you're so cute" chuckling and he says "I'm almost done editing that paper, we have enough for it so you don't have to write anything for it" and I say "ok, what do I owe you for writing that?" He says "a million dollars" and I say "oh yeah, let me get that for you" sarcastically and he says "all I want is you" and I blush, turning to him and he kisses me.
