Alex's POV
A year later
I say "what are you doing?" Jack says "giving you something" and I say "what is it?" He hands me a book and I say "what's this?" I smile and he says "my book, I wanted you to be the first to read it" sitting next to me and I bite my lip reading the title, You're So Hot. I read the back and a mini blurb says: the best book you'll ever read about a young ongoing relationship with heartbreak, LGBTQ issues and love and lots of laughs. Then another one says: a book every teen relationship, LGBTQ or not, should read. I bite my lip and I open it and on the dedication page it says: to Alex, the reason and inspiration for this book, I love you so much and if we are together forever or not, I hope you have the best life you could possibly have my love. I blush saying "is this why you were always writing around me since we started dating?" He says "maybe" and he kisses me and I say "you're so cute" kissing him and I say "Jack, when are you putting it out?" He says "publishers wanna put it out next week" and I say "I'll finish it by then" kissing him and he mumbles "I know you will my love" and I kiss him, him kissing back slowly.
A month later
I say "Jack, what are you up to, pretty boy?" He says "going to do an interview, do you wanna go?" I bite my lip saying "do I have time to get ready?" He kisses me saying "if you can do it in half an hour" and I say "now I can do that" kissing him and I go and shower, get dressed and I say "hows my timing?" I put shoes on and Jack says "perfect, baby" kissing my cheek and we go to this interview and it's a TV interview. I say "look at you getting on TV already" hip bumping him as we walk in and we laugh quietly and we go to where they're doing an interview and I mumble "wait, James Corden?" Jack nods and I mumble "were moving up in the world" and we chuckle and he kisses my cheek and he gets called onto the soundstage. I say "I wish you luck" resting my hands on his cheeks and he goes on and I bite my lip and James says "hey, man, what's up?!" Jack says "nothing much, in the market to write a new book but I've actually been sleeping well, so maybe I'll take a break. What's up with you?" James chuckles saying "when did you start writing this book?" He says "well, I met my fiancé toward the beginning of senior year, so a few years ago, I'm almost twenty now, beginning of my senior year of high school." James says "so you wrote it in about three years?! I'm guessing it's very self consuming to write a book?" Jack says "it really is, apparently I sleep more and I actually look up from a notebook now, according to my fiancé" chuckling and James says "that's too funny, so you said that most of the characters in your book are based on real people?" Jack says "yeah, all of the book has happened in real time in the past three years" and James says "that is so cool!" I was reading the book and a couple parts are over dramatized but that makes the book much more interesting but all of it has happened to us in some way. James says "your book seems like it would be for teens but I genuinely enjoyed it" and Jack says "thank you so much, I didn't make it like grossly cliche cause when it gets into that territory its only the hopeless romantics reading, that's what I feel anyway. It's basically the past three years of my life but put into a fiction story" and James says "who is your favorite character in the book?" Jack says "all of my friends and my fiancé  have read the book, they know who is who, I'm not answering" and they laugh and James says "I almost had you there" and they chuckle and James says "you're an amazing writer, what made you want to start writing?" Jack says "I took a creative writing class freshman year just cause I thought it would be something cause I was and still am probably the most boring person ever, so I needed a hobby. Then I took up writing and I've been constantly writing ever since" shrugging and James says "you're pretty much fresh out of high school, how was your high school experience?" Jack says "were getting dark here, just kidding, my high school experience was alright, it was school, I had friends, I had a boyfriend that's now my fiancé, it was pretty good." James says "it was amazing talking to you, man! You're living a movie!" They cut the cameras and Jack and James come backstage and they're just casually talking and they come over to me and I say "that was really good" and Jack says "I was sweating for a second there" and I chuckle saying "I could tell." James says "you get used to it" and he says "I'm James by the way" and I smile saying "I'm Alex" shaking his hand and James says "so, you're the legend himself?" I say "I guess so, yeah" us chuckling and James says "you guys are brilliant, we should hang out sometime maybe?" I say "sure" loosely holding Jacks hand and Jack nods saying "definitely" and James says "awesome, I gotta run" and James leaves. I turn to Jack, resting my hands on his cheeks saying "this dress isn't going to come off itself" quietly and he bites his lip and we go home. I say "people kept staring at me backstage, it was fucking weird" and Jack kisses me saying "you're just so hot, I'd be staring too" and I say "you're so hot" kissing him.
