"Yeah, I'm sure the village would be very important to you because of the heritage."

I proudly smiled at him as I prepared him a little snack of apples, bread and some berries. I placed the plate in front of him as he softly mumbled a thank you under his breath.

"Do you know anything more about Wilbur Soot? The books say only so much, it only talks how he traveled to far lands and started a country. I have heard that there are more recent books about him, I couldn't get ny hands on one though."

I pick up and reorganize my books, placing them back on the shelf. As I finish placing the books back on the shelf Wilbur finishes his place and opens his mouth to talk.

"I've, I've read a recent book about him, it says that he wasn't a good man. He destroyed his country and went absolutely crazy! Then he set fire all the nearby villages reaching havoc."

I look down as I realize what I have said about him. He isn't a hero, not one bit. He is most likely dead and only remains in legends. I can't imagine why would he do that, destroying a country he created.

"I can't believe anyone would do that, many lives lost and destroying something you've probably worked on for years! Was Wilbur that insane??"

He simply nodded with a sad look on his face. I looked down at my hands and jump at the sudden knock at my door. I quickly rush over and see Kane standing outside my door holding a rolled up scroll.

"Howdy Mayor! We are almost done the houses! But we have a bit of a problem. The messenger seemed very sad and it cannot be good. This seal is rarely good news."

Kane hands me the scroll, I thank him as he turns and continues towars the area with the new houses. I look at the wax seal, royal blue stamp. I walk over to Wilbur who looked concerned. I gently peel off the wax placing it on the table, I unravel it.

Dear Mayor Y/N of Westwood Hills

This is a letter to you stating that there is a group of unidentified individuals who are pillaging nearby villages in the west. They seem to be searching for something or someone in villagers. It could be a bounty hunt. Due to these conditions, we cannot send supplies such as: food, materials, troops, animals or anything that has to be transported. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Sincerely, King Technoblade

I slam my hand on the table, my fist landing on the wax shattering it.

"How will I feed my village? We've emptied our silos. It would take many months to be able to feed us all."

Wilbur seemed saddened by my words gently picking up the paper and reading it.

"You can't go to other villages can't you."

"No, Westwood hills is one of the biggest villages with or without the newcomers. Other villages relied on my village in hard times. Whoever is part of the pillaging group is must be powerful if even King Technoblade wouldn't send his troops."

Wilbur simply nodded and dug in this small traveler's bag. Pulling out a bag and placing it in front of me, I could see white dust settle in from the bag on to the table.

"What is this?"

I open it to find a white powder which almost looked like flour.

"That's bonemeal, it should help the crops grow quickly, very quickly. Just sprinkle a little bit on a patch and after a day or two it will fully grow."

I reach my hand in to feel it, felt like fine salt.

"Wilbur, I, thank you."

I exhaled a relieved sigh and felt hope rise up inside me as I smile to Wilbur. I close the bag and get up from my seat, grabbing papers, quills and ink.

"If you don't mind Wilbur, helping me out in the farms, with the bonemeal it will feed my village."

He smiled and puts on his traveler's bag and I stuff the papers quills and ink into a bag of my own. Clutching the bag of bonemeal I head out the door in a bit of a hurry excitedly baring good news.

"Farmer Katelyn? Katelyn!"

I hurried over to a farmer who was busy digging up potatoes and throwing them into a nearby waggon.

"I have bonemeal! We would be able to feed the village while we make fore farmland!"

As soon as Katelyn hears that her eyes lit up and a joyful smile stretched across her face. She then pointed further east to the wheat field where illagers and farmers quickly cut, picked up and replanted the wheat. Wilbur and I ran over to them telling them the good news and they worked even quicker. Giving a pinch for each meter of wheat, working quickly and by sunset the very first wheat bunch was almost ready to be harvested.

"Looks like your bonemeal worked too well. I only gave it a pinch and it's almost fully grown at sunset."

"That is sure to keep your village going,  and maybe if we use it more sparingly or get more, you might be able to help nearby villages."

He smiled at me, a gentle breeze flew over the field, shaking the wheat. The sun illuminating his face, clearly defining his striking features. His beautiful fluffy hair bouncing in the wind, his eyes turning almost amber brown. The sun giving them an almost gold outline, I could see very short beard hairs along his chin and jawline. The sun sets lower and lower as the skies turn purple and dark blue, stars start to shine. His gentle eyes still staring back at mine, I could hear his every inhale and exhale at the peacefulness of the field. He leans closer as if to look deeper into my eyes, feeling his exhales blow on my face.

"Watch out!"

He suddenly tackles me to the ground as an arrow flies above us. He quickly gets up pulling me with him, I turn to see a skeleton aiming at us again. I duck as the arrow gets released into the air and dashes over my head as I charge at the skeleton with my sword. With one good swing I behead the skeleton and it falls apart and crumples to the ground.

"Wilbur you ok?"

I turn to see Wilbur stabing a zombie and kicking it off his sword.

"We better head back, before we get overwhelmed."

I nod and we both run to back to the village, everyone rushing to their homes and locking all their doors. I open the door to my house and close it right after Wilbur dashes in. I slide down my door and onto the floor struggling to catch my breath as Wilbur is sitting on a chair breathing heavily.

"Hoo boy, I think we should head to bed now, come I'll show you your room."

I get up from the floor and wait for Wilbur to walk over to the stairs before walking up and showing him the guest room. He walks in and says goodnight as I do the same and heading to my own room next door. Changing into something more comfortable, before pulling the blinds over my windows submerging my room into darkness. I tuck myself in and scoot around to get comfortable, as I hear a familiar voice softly singing. The soothing voice and ny tired body quickly helped me drift into sleep.
