Jake POV

I looked around me.  It was about 1:30 in the afternoon and darkness filled the sky.  The only light I could see was from the flames burning the city.  Monsters from the pits of Tartarus  were destroying downtown Grand Rapids.

One of my favorite events ever was being tossed aside as I watched Giants walk through Art Prize sculptures like they were pieces of litter.  The Blue Bridge in flames was now the nest to a few Hydras.  The Van Andel Arena was half destroyed by an earthquake.

We all stood there at the exit of the Labyrinth, not knowing what to do next.

"Come on.  We have to start moving." Percy said.

"To do what?" I asked

"To finish this.  Once and for all."

"It looks like we already lost, Percy...Uranus is coming down." Sav said, pointing up to the sky.

"Well we can't just give up! We've all worked to hard for that old dirt face to take everything we love away from us!  In the second Titan War we didn't give up.  Did we believe it was pointless to fight back? Yep. Did we think we would never survive? You bet.  But we fought anyway! Doesn't matter what we're up against.  Kronos, Gaea, Uranus, or whatever else tries to stop us can't stand a chance.  Now what are we gonna do?" Percy finished.

"We fight." Felix said.

"We're gonna need the others." Zac said.

"Let's not worry about transportation." Percy said before he pulled out a whistle and  whistled loudly.

Out of the shadows appeared a large dark dog with a droopy muzzle.

"Woah! Hellhound!" Clare says, pulling out her coin.

"Don't worry, this is my friend! Mrs. O'Leary!" Percy said.

Despite the apocalypse, I still thought my dad was the coolest.  In the matter of a few hours he taught me how to blow up a Minotaur and introduced us to his pet dog demon.

"Hop on! We're heading to Camp, okay?" Percy said to Mrs. O'Leary.

We all got on.  Don't ask me how Chiron was able to.

The beast made a noise that sounded like a deep growl crossed with friendly bark, and we passed through the shadows.

Next thing I knew it, we were all back in Long Island.  Somehow even though we were traveling for a few seconds, I could recall all the places we went through.  Cities destroyed, monsters roaming about, but the worst was the capitol under attack, Grand Haven Pier and beach trampled over, Comerica Park and Ford Field infested my monsters.  Our state, our country, our world was being destroyed.

"We're here..." Percy said.

"But where is everything?" Jason asked.

"I thought you said there was a war going on here?" Piper asked us.

"There was! But..where did it all go?!" said Clare.

"Right here! This is right where the others were!" Tatar said, pointing to the ground.

"I don't feel to good..." Grover said.

"We either, Grover.  This must be a trap." Chiron responded.

That it is, Heroes...

We turned around and saw Gaea.  Larger than I've ever seen her. Her face and body made of stone and dirt with a thick vine skeleton holding it all together.
