Time Tells

You Took One Of Us So.......

          " Saul, open the door, Ella, anyone hearing me?" , said Radev whispering as he knocks the door house.
           "We are coming, hold on a little while" , I shouted waking up Saul. Saul woke up and opened the door. It was his friend Radev at the door at this hour of the night.
             "Oh Radev! , what a surprise? , come in please" , said Saul looking back at me.
             "It's am emergency Saul. Your wife is needed in the hall of Mons now".
              "Hall of Mons!, what's that place and why?", I said coming close to Saul.
              "Ella, Hall of Mons is where the highest demons rule or make rules assisted by the devil himself and they have summoned you", explained Radev.
               "No Ella, stay here and I will go there alone with Radev, you don't need to worried" , said Saul worried.
              " Am coming too, they summoned me so I have to go, I will be fine okay", I said assuring Saul.
                "But am coming with you might need me too and don't worry the devil doesn't like being seen so I promise you, you won't meet him", he said placing his hand on his head.
                "How do you know that, have you ever met him in person?" , I said
               " Just say am some how close to him, he said smiling. So do you need me with you there? ".
                 "I always need you, anywhere, every time", I wisphered in his ears.
We went to the Hall of Mons and it was in devil's dell. It is a big room with many people all sitting at different levels in air and one sitting opposite them. They told me to stand in front of them. My heart was beating like a drum.
                 "Ella, your here called by the elders to know your place here, said the one sitting at the opposite side of the rest. I heard you made one of our people disappear", he said raising an eyebrow at me.
               " It was because she was in a state of defense", shouting Saul from his seat,
               "Let her speak for herself, I believe your wife has a voice that we all want to hear from", said the same man.
                It's true I made her disappear because she was trying to take what wasn't hers", I said looking at all of them.
                  "So you they gave you your powers, is that right Ella?" , said the man.
               " I don't know what you mean but I guess so", was my only reply.
                  "You took one of us, so are you willing to replace her and do you know who she is Ella? , she was our next princess if she had married Saul but I guess you did".
                  "Am sorry, I didn't know that really and I didn't mean to make her disappear but I meant it when I destroyed her wedding" , I said starting to panic a little bit but I wanted to look courageous for Saul.
                 "You don't need to say more because we here crown you as princess of devil's dell whether you wish or not, it's not your choice, you brought yourself".
  How did matters reach here, how and why this. I wanted to leave kinda normal life with Saul not to be princess for a dark Kingdom.
Was it a good thing or not, I wasn't sure. But if I was destined to be then let it be as my logo always states, I said assuring Saul. Two days later I was crowned as princess with all demons present, those who wanted me to be or not. Some complained I was not capable of being a demon princess because I wasn't one of them. Was I gonna leave here?, yes I was, In devil's dell. Speaking of devil, he was a quiet man as I have been told and that he  has no problem with me being a princess though I was of course human as Saul said. I had no idea how Saul knew so much about him and he says was true . As I also heard from one of the leaders of the Hall, the devil said if they were more humans then more power in ruling the world. I didn't know what he meant by that. At least I was given freedom to see my parents anytime and that was amazing.
I knew then that I was wasn't going to be any normal princess, I wasn't going to live in a castle or do what other princesses do but still,  I was going to do what any princess could do and that was to serve her kingdom whole heartily. ln precise, I was stepping in to become the dark princess.
I managed to change the elders of the hall in my staying on earth, I mean devil's dell was a fancy name for hell. I said I would be able to help when am on earth and with the help of Saul's explanations, I was allowed to stay on earth with Saul.
