Time Tells

CHAPTER TWO. TIME TELLS NO WAR.

It was first a rumor I heard that Jazsel got out of the place I put her in. I didn't mind because of course it was a rumor. Things were going well for the last few weeks so I didn't want to believe that she would ruin my life again. But to my disappointment, it was true, Radev told me. She was collecting people to her side like an army to destroy me so that meant war. I didn't want to go into war, it was a risk, a huge one.
"Saul am not ready to go for war, what if something happens" , I shrieked
" Ella, me too am scared that you might get hurt but you never live till you risk your life. And we are in this together".
" With what army are we going to fight her, with as you heard she's already creating her army and you know most demons don't like me at all".
" We shall get a solution all we need is to talk to the the devil and we see what shall he say, trust me".
"But how, I have no idea what he is or how he looks like so how shall we talk to him. It will take alot to see him".
" You don't need to worry, my dad is not that difficult to win over".
"My dad seriously, Saul we are not joking now, we need to figure out how to deal with this situation".
"And am saying my dad as you say, the devil is not that difficult to talk to", he said smiling.
" Your joking right now, aren't you, I said looking at him but when he didn't say anything. Your not joking".
"Am not, I wanted to tell you but it was enough that you knew I was a demon".
"Am married to the devil's son, isn't it something to celebrate about", I said sweating.
"It's not that bad, his just kinda antisocial and tough but he remains my father, that's why I do anything and no one will stop me".
"Does he know you are married to a human , does he even agree to our marriage?".
"He's the devil so of course he knows that but I don't know if he likes what I did".
"Okay ,when will I get to see my father in law? ", I said teasingly but I was scared to death of what would he say about me and my marriage to his son.
"Today honey, today", he said in a scary tone.
"I don't like that tone, your adding on the heart attack am having".
"Don't worry, nothing to be scared of", he said again with that scary tone.
We went to meet my husband's father, the devil himself.
" Dad you have visitors" , shouted Saul when we reached to a room with a throne and black curtains. It was just dark inside.
I looked at the throne and I saw someone sitting on it. The room was dark so I was still trying to look deep into the dark. The man stood up coming close to us, I was feeling my body becoming heavy, my heart stopping to beat. I was so stiff, I caught Saul's hand tight as the man came closer.
"Dad stop scaring her", said Saul opening the door curtains in a blink of an eye.
Standing in front of me was the devil. He was so handsome, so muscular, so tall. He wasn't really as I thought. I heard that he was ugly, scary, had horns but the one in front of me was opposite. He had eyes just like Saul. If he cam like this on earth, he would steal everyone's heart with his face.
"It's a pleasure to meet you" , I said trying hard not to look straight at his eyes. I was scared to death.
"What a wife you have" , said him to Saul. "She's beautiful good choice my son" .
"Thanks dad, she is really beautiful in all ways, dad we need your help" .
"I know that, what do you think? , I don't know what's going on here" , he said returning to his throne.
" So are you going to stop the war?" , I interrupted.
" We don't stop wars, we fight wars and defeat our enemies", he said looking straight at me.
"Then help us get away of creating our own army to defeat Jazsel" , Saul said
"My son, I can't help you in that but you can help yourselves. All I can say is that you have to have human warriors in your side" .
"What do you mean, I should bring innocent people into this war?" I said questionly.
"Are you sure everyone on earth is innocent as you say, you see Ella, there are plenty of people who are on earth who don't deserve to be there".
"No one deserves to be on earth but we try to make earth a better place to live" .
"That's what am saying. Let me give you examples, pastors who preach in the name of money or people who kill others for the sake of money. All those people can be helpful in this situation" .
"Ella my dad has a point, those people don't deserve their life so why don't we make a deal out of their lives" , said Saul
" You will do a big favor to those innocent lives who are suffering because of such people" , the devil said giving me a big smile.
" Like I say, more humans, more power, he said signaling me to come to his throne. He caught my hands when I reached to his place. I give you power to command as you wish on those humans" , he mumbled.
Then he signaled us to leave his room and he closed the curtains once again. What a dark man.
