Love in a College Town

Wedding

Today's the day I'm marrying the love of my life. The father of my son. My soul mate.
We decided we were gonna have the wedding behind the house by the barn.
right now i am in Luke and i's room getting ready. Mama is helping me with my make up while kelly is doing my hair.
Kelly is my maid of honor and Tommy is Lukes best man and little Jordan is the flower girl. Shes wearing a white poofy dress with a coral belt thing around her waist. My brides maids are wearing coral knee high dresses with their cow boy boots. The guys are wearing formals black tuxes with a coral ties.
kelly finishes my hair and i slip my dress on. once I was done getting dressed daddy walked in crying.
"Awe daddy don't make me cry. I'll cry too"
"I know. But my baby girl is getting married"
I gave him a hug
"I brought you something."
"What is it daddy? I have everything"
He pulled a box out of his pocket and handed it to me. I opened it to see my mawmaws pearls
"Are these mawmaw's?"
He nodded
"She wanted you to wear them on your wedding day"
I let a tear fall.
"Will you put them on me?"
"Of course sweetheart."
I turned around and he hooked the necklace around my neck.
"Thank you daddy"
"Your welcome sweetheart. Are you ready?"
I nodded and smiled. He linked arms with me and we headed downstairs to Luke and I's living room to wait for Chris to pick us up in his truck.
Once he got here we hopped in and headed to the barn. Everyone else was already there.
Once all of the bridesmaids and groomsmen went down the isle little Jordan went down throwing the flower petals. When she was done with that the music started playing.
Luke's POV
Once that music started playing I knew that this was going to be the best day of my life. Dylan turned the corner with her arm linked with her daddy's. She had on a beautiful high low dress with a sparkly belt around her waist that looked amazing on her. I smiled as she came closer with her dad. When she got next to me her daddy kissed her on the cheek and handed her off to me.
"Now you better take care of her son"
"Yes sir"
Dylan and I both turned to the pastor.
Skipping to the vows.
"Luke. Do you have your vows prepared?"
I nodded
"Dylan. Ever since I bumped into you in the hallways at school. I knew you were the girl for me. The way you comforted me when I started crying about Chris. When I found out you were pregnant with Brandon I was literally the happiest man on earth. I love you so much and I promise to do that for the rest of my life. Forever and always."
"Dylan. Do you have your vows prepared?"
She nodded
"Luke. I never thought I would meet a man that would love me as much as you do. I promise to love you not just that much but even more. I promise to stay with you through your career. I promise to love and support anything and everything you do. I love you."
I smiled and the pastor turned to me.
"Ok do you Thomas Luther Bryan take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife?"
"I do."
The pastor turned to Dylan.
"And do you. Dylan Marie Richmond take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband?"
She smiled.
"I do."
"Then with the power invested in me I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."
I pulled Dylan toward me and dipped her as I kissed her.
When we pulled out we walked down the isle and headed towards the house.
Now onto the reception.
