Love in a College Town

first day

so i had brandon yesterday and he looks so much like Luke. He has his brown eyes, long eyelashes, and brown hair. He has my mouth and nose and he is just so cute.
"Dyl baby?"
"yes lukey?"
"i love you so so much i am so happy to have you and Brandon in my life. i dont know what i would do without you."
"awe baby i love you so much more." i said kissing him on the lips. Then Brandon started crying.
i stood up and walked over to the hospital crib and picked him up. the nurse walked in to see if i needed help.
"Mrs. Bryan will you be breast feeding?"
"yes i will."
"ok then im going to need you to pull your shirt up just above your breast."
i did as she told me to do and she placed brandon right on my breast.
"ok he may not latch on the first time but once he gets used to it it will be easy. Dad would you like to stay in here?"
"yes mam."
"ok then i will leave yall alone."
she walked out of the door.
"hey baby mama just texted me saying she, my daddy, Kelly, and Jordan are about an hour away."
"ok sweetheart. did you call my parents too?"
"yes i did and they said they had a very important business meeting to attend and they told me to tell you congratulations and that they love you."
"hm sounds just like my parents. business always comes first."
"princess dont say that. they love you very much. they just have work to get done."
"yea but work always comes first. they missed my fifth grade graduation to go to Puerto Rico for a business meeting. they missed my 6th grade cheer competition to go to Washington D.C. Luke they have missed so much. i mean are they going to miss our wedding too because this is kind of obnoxious."
"Dyl i promise you they will be at our wedding. and if they arent then my daddy will walk you down the isle like you are his child. Dylan i promise you they love you but they also have to keep their business running."
at this point i had tears running down my face.
"but luke they miss everything."
Brandon finished on my right side so i had to switch him to my left. Luke helped me hold him while i put my boob back in and pulled the other one out. i gripped Brandon on to the other one and he started falling asleep. Luke kissed the top of my head and started rubbing my back.
"what did i do to have such a great fiance?"
"you were the sexy cowboy that you are and your country charm struck me when you helped me with my stuff for my dorm."
He kissed the top of my head. Then there was a knock at the door.
I pulled my shirts back down and situated Brandon so that he could sleep. Luke walked back in with Jordan in his arms and Kelly and Mama LeClaire behind him.
"hey baby we have some visitors." he whispered knowing that Brandon was asleep. Jordan jumped out of Lukes arms and ran to my side. i think Luke told her to be quiet tho because she was whispering when she came to my side.
"is that Brandon Aunt Dylan?"
"yes it is Jor. hes your new cousin."
"hes pretty aunt Jordan. He looks like Uncle Luke."
"i know he does. thats why hes so cute." i said smirking at Luke.
"can i hold him?"
"sure baby girl. go sit over in that chair. Luke can you help her with her arms?"
"sure baby." Jordan ran over to the chair with Luke behind her to help her.
"ok jordan. Aunt Dylan is going to put brandons head where your arm is and you have to keep it up like this ok?" he said showing her how to do it.
she nodded her head while i put Brandon in her arms. Luke helped her support his head while she held him. i took a bunch of pictures of the three of them and i got a really cute one of Luke kissing jordans head and jordan kissing Brandons head. i decided to post that on twitter. for my caption i put 'i guess i dont get any kisses from my men😔 @lukebryan"
i guess Brandon is getting all of the sugar now.
