Christmas Eve

"Baby baby wake up its Christmas Eve!"
"im up baby im up. Come on we are getting ready to do presents with my family!"
"First I need a good morning kiss." He said puckering his lips.
I leaned down and gave him a light kiss that led to a small makeout session.
"Come on baby you still need to meet my brother. But don't worry I'm gonna be right there next to you so you with be ok."
"I'm sorry for acting like I did last night. I'm just still not used to him not being here."
"Baby it's totally ok. I understand you. One of my best friends when I was little died 3 years ago in a car crash. She was hit by a drunk driver and died on impact." I said as a tear rolled down my face.
"Baby you don't need to tell me." he said wiping the tear from my face.
"Yes I do baby."
"She was like my sister. We did everything together. And when she died. I didn't come out of my room for a month. I only got out of my bed to go to the bathroom and shower. I was devastated. But I've gotten through it. When I met you I felt that everything was lifted off my shoulders. I knew that I was gonna grow old with you. I love you baby." I said into his chest.
"I love you too baby. Now go clean your beautiful face to get rid of those tears and let's go downstairs."
"Ok baby."
I got up and washed my face like Luke told me to.
"Ready to meet him baby?"
"Of course come on."
We walked down the stairs hand in hand and saw Chris laying on the couch watching TV.
"Chris?"
"Hey Dyl. And you must be Luke. It's so nice to meet you."
"It's nice to meet you too Chris."
"I'll go get mom and dad and we can do gifts so yall can head out."
"Ok."
Luke and I sat on the couch while Chris went to go get Mama and Daddy.
Luke rested his hand on my stomach and smiled.
"I cant wait for Brandon to get here. I wanna take him huntin and fishin and muddin and fourwheelin and i wanna teach him to play football."
"i cant wait for you to teach him to be just like you. i need a mini Luke." i said giggling.
"i love you baby."
"i love you more." luke said kissing me.
"awe yall are so cute together." mama said leaning into daddy.
"thank you mama."
"ok come on kids lets do presents so yall can get on the road."
mama and daddy sat on the other couch and chris started handing out presents.
Luke got a new ipad, some clothes a new rolex and a pair of tennis shoes.
i got a new mac, some clothes, a micheal kors watch, and some clothes.
brandon got a stroller and some clothes and some other baby essentials. Once we were done with presents Luke got up and said he had something to say.
he turned to me. "Dylan i love you so much. i love falling asleep next to you every night with you cuddled up in my arms. i love cuddling with you and watching the NCIS marathons. i love how you are so good with kids and i cant wait until we have our own," he said rubbing my stomach."i love you so much and i cant stand the thought of letting you go so Dylan Marie Richmond," he said dropping to his knee pulling a box out of his pocket."Will you marry me?"
At that point i was bawling.
"Yes baby yes." i said kissing him with so much passion.
in the background i could hear my family clapping and cheering but i could barely hear them i was too focused on Luke.
once we broke away from the kiss Luke slid the gorgeous ring on my finger.
"I love you so much Thomas Luther Bryan."
"I love you so much more Dylan Marie Richmond soon to be Bryan." he said smirking.
"we need to leave in like 10 minutes baby."
"ok baby let me go tell everybody by and we can get going since all of our stuff is packed."
"ok baby ill come with you."
"mama daddy we have to go in a minute."
"ok sweetheart congratulations again and Luke welcome to the family." Luke and i both said thank you and told our goodbyes before we left for leesburg.

Lukes Parents House

"you ready to see everybody baby?"
"yup come on. i wanna see jordan."
"ok baby come on."
we walked into the house and Jordan came running to us.
"UNCLE LUKE AUNT DYLAN!!!!"
"hey baby girl!"
"are you here for Christmas?"
"yes we are!"
"Dyl will you come play with me?"
uncle luke and i are gonna tell everybody hello and we have some big news and its a little late. why dont we play tomorrow?"
"ooo yay big news! and ok."
luke and i walked into the living room to see everybody sitting down talking in their pjs since it is 9:30
"hey yall!" luke and i both said.
"hey luke hey dylan yall come sit down and drink some hot cocoa."
"actually mama Dyl and i have some big news. we're engaged!"
"oh my god i am so happy for yall!"
"thank yall so much. but dyl and i are gonna head upstairs. Dyl is really tired with the baby and she woke up really early this morning."
"ok yall go ahead and go to bed we have a big day tomorrow."
luke and i headed up stairs and we both fell right to sleep cuddling up with each other.
