Alarm

I walked back into the main room and told Miranda I need to go to the doctor. We got in her car and drove there. They did the usual checkup, and told me I had more than one heartbeat. They then checked my stomach and said of course that I was pregnant. Kaycee and Miranda were both in the waiting room. When I got out I gathered them both and offered to drive back to the house. I was honestly devastated I'm due in the usual 9 months but I don't know how I'm gonna take care of yet another child. Kaycee was in a lot of activities and does tutoring and everything costs. Jay is no longer around and if this is his baby he's gonna have to be around twice as much as he already is for Kaycee. I let all these thoughts roam my mind as I drove back to Miranda's house. I thanked her for her help and picked up the rest of Kaycee's clothes and we got in the car. Kaycee was 12 now so of course she's in that curiousity stage in her life. "Um, mommy why did we have to go to the doctor office?" , "because Kaycee I needed to get checked to make sure everything was alright." I said without looking at her. She was a little me so she could always tell if I was lying or not telling everything. "Well, Melany just texted and asked if I could go to the mall and movies with her and the a sleepover.. Can I please go ?" , "yea I'll stop you by the house and you can pick up some clothes and get $50 out my drawer in my room, but hurry up."

Kaycee was at her friends house and I went to go get Ryan who could finally come home. He was ready to come home and he told me he just wanted to be around me. I picked him up from the hospital. "how you feeling?"I asked while he came up to the car. "April can we go get some ice cream?" He asked smiling at me. "Sure"

We sat down at Coldstone after ordering our usuals and decided to talk. He went first. "April I have a confession, I .... I am in love with you, I know I hurt you before a thousand times and how you said you would never date me again but, I was stupid before now I realize I can't live without you, seeing you with Jay honestly pisses me off because I'm the reason why you were available if I hadn't hurt you , you wouldn't have to run to him then catch feelings, April I'm sorry!" A tear rolled down his face. I'll admit he did hurt me before but I can't help but to think that he might deserve just one more chance. I actually love him back, and it's been this way for a while, I want him to be in my life, and he's a great father figure for Kaycee since her real one is basically not in the picture. I took his hand in mine," ask me again." "Why so you can humiliate me and say no?" She said looking down at our hands. A couple tears rolled down my face. "Just ask" he cleared his throat and began his sentence." April Johnson will you be my everything?" He said wiping the tears from my face. "Piece of cake" I said smiling and still crying. He looked up at me in shock and kissed me then said, "piece of pie."
