Darkness, that's all she could see. She shivered as the cold air rushed against her skin. She looked around, tossing and turning in every direction, the terrible screeches of the mechanical cage filling her ears. "Hello!?" she screamed, "Is anyone there!?" she screamed, begging to hear a response.
But to no avail, nobody seemed to be there to answer her pleads. 'What's going on? Where am I? Wait... who am I?' she whimpered; millions of thoughts and fears ran through her mind as she helplessly banged against the cage, trying to catch the attention of someone.
Suddenly, the cage sped up, instantly knocking Y/N off her feet. "Help! Please! Somebody, help me!" She shouted, tears of frustration clouding her E/C eyes. Just as she was about to give up hope, the cage came to a halt, knocking her against the back of the cage, causing a groan to escape her lips.
A bright light appeared, blinding Y/N. Squinting, she could make out the faint shadows of other people. Scared, she ducked away from the light, hiding behind the crates.
"Hey! Do you see the Greenie!?" one man hollered, peeking his head to look at the cage. Another male appeared, jumping into the cage, startling the poor girl. "Not yet, but I see the supplies!" the man replied, hopping into the small metal box.
Y/N stumbled out from behind the crates as one of the boys pulled them. She gasped, flailing her hands before face-planting onto the metal flooring. "Found them!" the voice chuckled, kneeling and offering her his hand.
"Who are you!?" she squeaked, shoving his hand to a side and getting into a fighting stance. "Newt, what's going on?" a dark-skinned man asked. "It's... the Greenies a girl..." he whispered, staring into her eyes.
