Chiyo's Return To The Leaf Village

Chapter 7

   Just before Kakashi could be hit he jumped into the air narrowly avoiding Naruto's attack.

"That was a close on.....in a different sense" he said. Sakura jumped from above aiming a kick at Kakashi, he dodged once again another tree being destroyed in the process. Seeing an opening Chiyo unsheathed her sword. silently she was able to sneak up on Kakashi. She swung her blade cutting his cheek before he dodged. The three regrouped standing in front of the tired looking Kakashi as he caught his breath.

  "It used to be so easy" he said to himself an image of a younger naruto appearing in his mind. Kakashi now found himself completely surrounded as Naruto created a whole crowd of shadow clones. They all began to run towards Kakashi who expertly dodged and countered each one of their attacks. One by one each of them began to disappear until only a few were left. Suddenly, the ground cracked once more as Sakura punched it taking out a few more of the clones. Kakashi avoided it easily.

  "Good grief it looks like there won't be any time for reading" he thought.

   Night had fallen as Sakura, Naruto, and Chiyo walked through the forest.

"I could have sworn I heard the sound of bells coming from this way" the blond spoke.

  "There's a possiblity that he rang them on purpose" Sakura pointed out.

"Be careful" she warned, Chiyo nodded looking around cautiously. Suddenly, an image of a figure appeared, they seemed injured. Upon closer inspection the three stopped, it was Sasuke. He was bleeding and several kunai were sticking out of him.

"Sasuke" the three said at the same time.

  "Help me" he spoke,

"I got away from Orochimaru" he stated stumbling forward. Knowing what they were seeing wasn't real Sakura put her hands together.

"Release" she said as the image before them froze. It disappeared,

"I'm not interested in illusions" Sakura spoke. Naruto summoned a clone as he started to perform Rasangan. It was at that moment Chiyo had spotted Kakashi behind a tree, using his Rasengan Naruto attacked the tree forcing Kakashi to dodge as it tumbled to the forest floor.

  Noticing that Kakashi had "dropped" the bells Naruto smiled. He walked forwards to grab them ignoring the shouts of protest from both girls. And, just like before he was strung up with rope that pulled him into the air.

  "He fell for the same-" Midnight began to speak but suddenly the Naruto that had been captured was gone,

"a clone" Chiyo said as Kakashi's eyes went wide. Naruto appeared behind him landing a punch but Kakashi suddenly disappeared into smoke leaving a log behind.

  Meanwhile a blond male landed on a roof, he looked up a smile on his face only to be met with a red headed male.

"That's as far as you go" Garra spoke, sand began to pour from the gourd on his back and both he and the blond stared at each other silently. The intruder chuckled reaching for something. He jumped into the air landing on the large bird he created as he took off into the sky followed by a trail of sand. Garra chased after the man who evaded him quickly, he then flew down towards the village still being chased. The large bird made a sharp turn but Garra's sand still managed to follow him. This was seen by two ninja's who stumbled back in surprise as the wind rose. Suddenly, the sand appeared in front of the stranger forcing him to fly up.

     Garra jumped onto the sand using it as a platform to pursue the main mid air. They stared at each other once more.

   "How'd you know I was an intruder?" the stranger asked. Garra glared at him,

     "There are no birds like that in this desert" he spoke,

"I see" the blond said.
