We gather our things together and prepare to jump.

"Ready?" Wyatt asks. I nod. We both sling our backpacks onto our backs. We stand side-by-side in the doorway of the train. Wyatt grabs my hand. I look into his blue-green eyes and he stares back at me. "On three?" I nod. "One, two, three!" We both jump off the train. I try to keep running forward once I reach the ground to regain my balance, but I end up tripping. Wyatt grabs me before I can even touch the ground, and pulls me into his arms. The wind from the train whips my black hair around my face.

"Are you ok?" Wyatt asks.

"I am now, are you?" I blush.

"Yeah," Wyatt smiles at me and I smile back.

"We should probably..." I start to say, but Wyatt pulls me closer to him.

"You're beautiful," he says. "I can't stand this any longer."

"Wyatt..."

"Shhh," he whispers as he puts his index finger on my lips. He leans down and kisses me; I let him. Despite the cool winds from the train, I feel warm, and safe. I wish I could stay in this moment forever and just forget everything else. When Wyatt finally pulls back, I grab him by his neck and pull him towards me and I kiss him back.

When we finally pull away from each other, I hug him tight. "We should probably go," Wyatt whispers.

"I don't want to move."

"I know," Wyatt says as he kisses my forehead. I pull away from him and grab his hand.

"I'm ready," I say as we both smile at each other.
