My Slytherin boy

Dinner

Okay, so I do love Mattheo I have come to a conclusion. How weird, right? I've hated him for 4 years and then all of a sudden I love him, have I loved him all this time? No really have I?
Anyway back to dinner. Me, Pansy, Daphne, Draco, blaise, Goyle and crabbe where all sitting at our usual spot on the Slytherin table, the very end close to the door.

We were all waiting for the sorting to be over, there were a few in Slytherin but not many.
Mattheo was still not there, I wonder where he is, probably off with his girlfriend, god I hate her, I don't even know her but I still do.

Finally the feast is here, yes. The food is always lovely, especially when new 1st years are here they make it extra special, just for them.
About 15 minutes into eating, Mattheo walks in hand in hand with his new girlfriend. Merlin she is ugly, definitely not what I thought his type was.
They let go and walked separate ways, Mattheo sat in his usual spot next to Draco facing blaise.
"Have fun with your girlfriend?" Draco asked smirking

"Ye tons" Mattheo said. Well that wasn't convincing.
"You sure do look happy" I said sarcastically
"Ye? How would you know when I am happy?
Mattheo said
"Merlin I was only joking, calm down" I said, he stayed silent
"So Mattheo, how was your summer?" Pansy asked

"Ok" he said
"Just ok? Mate you got a girlfriend" blaise said, I must of did something because Pansy nudged me and whispered 'you look jealous, are you?' I give her a 'are you serious' look and shook my head.
"Ye it was fine, I actually did one good thing. I went to diagonally and drank 7 butter bears in under 2 minutes!" Mattheo said proudly
"Just 7?Is that all you can do." I said
"Yes that's a lot you know?" He said
"Sure sure, whatever you say, babe" I said
He gave me shocked look
"What?" I asked
"Babe?" He asked
"Don't question it, she started saying it this summer and hasn't stopped." Daphne said
"Yes, so be lucky I only say it to people I like" I said

"Oh you actually like me now after 4 years?" Mattheo
"Your ok" I said
I smiled at him and he actually smiled back
"So are you" Mattheo said
Everyone sat there in shock, me and Mattheo looked at them then back at each other and shrugged and continued eating.
Walking back to the dorms, me and Mattheo spoke. A genuine nice conversation without us fighting. Turns out we both like the same things and have a lot in common, who would've thought, not me.

It was 9:00 when we returned back, and everyone was shattered but me and Mattheo, another coincidence.
So everyone went to bed but me and Mattheo.
We stayed up just talking and laughing till 1:00am. I haven't really spoke to him but now I regret that because he's actually really nice and sweet. Merlin I really do love him.
