Finals have finally come to an end. But it doesn't look like Tae will catch a break soon. After weeks of no messages from both Jungkook and Taehyung on our group chat, our phones finally pinged with a notification from Jungkook.

Group chat

Kookie🍪: Hey guys. Just wanted to let y'all know that I'll be leaving today evening.

ChimChim♥️: Wait what??? That was so sudden! I thought you'd stay for a few days at least... We didn't plan a proper goodbye..

If you are free now we'll come by..

Kookie🍪: Yeah I have an hour or two

Suga: Okay then. Kookies place in 10 guys.

Group chat ends

I immediately called Tae to check on him and how he was taking it.

"Hello?"

"Hey Hobi hyung. Wassup?" He said.

"Nothing. I just.. Uhh wanted to find out if you saw our group chat... "

There was a pause.

"Yeah... What about it?"

"Well... Are you gonna come?"

"I actually have to meet Tzuyu today. We haven't met for a while because of exams." He said.

"Tae... "

"Yeah..?"

"You may never see him again... "

"I knew that a month ago hyung."

I sighed. There's only so much I can do.

"I uh. Gotta go know. It's almost time for her to show up. Bye hobi."

"Bye."

Tae POV

My bell rang. It was Tzuyu. I took a deep breath. I need to do this.

"Hey." She said smiling and walking in.

"So how have you been?" I asked as we sat down.

"I've been okay. I guess I'll just get straight to point... We need to talk..."

"Yeah.."

"I know that this was a rebound. I kinda realised that yesterday and I should be mad but I am not. I understand what you are going through. After dating you for a month I had realised I don't really have feelings for you either. I just used to have a childish crush on you a while back. Once we became friends I guess that faded out. I just. I think it's time we broke up and you work on your feelings in a healthier way. It's pointless you know. You won't move on this way and I don't have feelings for you either. I hope we can still be friends though. I really do like you and care for you."

"I am really sorry Tzuyu. I have been so wrapped up in my problems I didn't think twice about what I was doing. I was so blinded I didn't see how much this could've hurt you. And yes I agree with you it is pointless."

"Talk to me Tae. We will always be friends. You don't have to be in a relationship to get away from the loneliness. You have me, Jimin, Yoongi, Hobi, Jisoo. You don't have to get over him alone."
