Wrongfully Accused Part 10 (Lucifer X Reader)

You two set in your kitchen and enjoyed the breakfast Lucifer had cooked. You thought it was sweet that he had made breakfast for you. You would blush and smile every time he looked up at you with a little grin on his face. "Thank you for breakfast," you said, "I didn't know you could cook so well,".

"I taught myself," he said, "my dad wasn't much of a cook so we fended for ourselves. When he did cook I was always accidentally forgotten," he said making quotation marks with his fingers at the word accidentally.

"I'm so sorry Lucifer," you told him, "you didn't deserve that,". He shrugged his shoulders.

"I survived," he said looking at you with the softest look, "things are much better now,". You smiled.

"Guess I better get ready," you said after you finished eating, "I have some apartments to show. Then maybe we can get you some furniture. I know someone who will help us for free,". You got up and placed your plate on top of but before you could pick them up. Lucifer gently grabbed you and pulled you into his lap causing you to straddle him and let out a surprised yelp. He chuckled.

"Or we could stay in," he said softly kissing your lips.

"I wish I could," you told him. He pouted but started playfully kissing your neck, "so not fair," you said softly running your fingers through his hair.

"Maybe that's my intention," he replied between kisses. You closed your eyes enjoying the feeling.

"Well I do have an hour," you informed, "and I planned on taking a shower,".

"Mmm," he hummed against your neck as his hand slowly trailed up your leg, "I suddenly feel so dirty,". You giggled rolling your eyes.

"Then come on," you said with a smirk as you got up, "Luci,"

"Oh you're gonna get it now," he teasingly taunted you as he chased you into the bathroom. After your shower you let Lucifer borrow some clothes you had been gathering up for him and with a kiss you left for work. Lucifer made sure to lock both apartments and headed to his younger brother's house. Lucifer stood there on the porch of his brother's house for a while before he finally got the courage to knock. Hie cleared his throat as the door opened. Gabriel took in the sight of his older brother for a moment.

"Heard you were finally out," he said breaking the ice. Lucifer nodded.

"You look good little brother," he said.

"What do you want Lucifer?" Gabriel asked as he walked away from the door and Lucifer walked in.

"I came to get Ramsey," he said looking around, "are you the only one home, Gabe?".

"I'm the only one that lives here Luci," he answered. Lucifer would have complained about Gabriel calling him Luci but he could clearly pick up on the sadness in his tone. Gabe opened a sliding glass door leading into his backyard and whistled and in ran a huge rottweiler.

"Hey girl!" Lucifer said as she ran straight to him. He kneeled down and gave the dog loving pats as she licked his face, "I missed you too,'.

"She doesn't really have anything to go with her," Gabriel said, "she and buddy shared the food and water bowls. She does have a teddy bear though,". Gabriel went over to an old dog bed and grabbed a raggedy brown bear from a pile of dog toys and handed it to Lucifer.

"So if you don't mind me asking brother," Lucifer said giving the bear to Ramsey, "what happened between you and Kali?".

"She found someone who could give her what I couldn't," he said, "a nice house, more money than she could imagine, and apparently he doesn't have any run ins with the law,".

"She found out about your shoplifting and fighting charges?" Lucifer asked. His brother usually did amazingly at keeping his dark past behind him.

"Dad or one of our big bros probably did it," Gabriel said, "you know how they are when they don't approve of someone,".

"Wouldn't be a surprise," Lucifer said.

"Well good thing you don't have to worry about that," Gabriel said, "being single and all,".

"Actually Gabe, I'm not," he admitted.

"You're seeing someone?" Gabriel asked arching a brow

"Not just seeing her," he said, "I'm completely in love with her,".

"In love?" Gabriel asked, "are you back with Kelly?".

"No," Lucifer shook his head, "Kelly was just a girl I was attracted to and is now the mother of my child who I can't see. This girl. She's the real deal. The reason I'm trying to straighten up my act. She makes my life better. She makes me better,".

"Wow," Gabriel said, "how did you meet?". Lucifer went on to explain to his brother how you two met. Letters, phone calls, etc.

"Well, I'm glad for you Luci," he said, "how long do you think it'll take before our loving family finds out?".

"Hopefully never," Lucifer answered truthfully, "I don't want them anywhere near her. Especially dad,". Just then there was a knock on Gabriel's door. When he answered it their older brother Micheal was standing there.

"Heya Mikey," Gabriel greeted, "what are you doing here?".

"I came to give you this," he said holding a golden colored envelope out to him. He had seen ones like it so many times in the past. It was an invitation to one of his father's book release parties. Just then Micheal locked eyes with Lucifer. "I heard you were out,".

"Did you now?" Lucifer replied crossing his arms.

"You actually saved me the trouble of tracking you down," Micheal stated holding out an envelope to him too, "Dad wants you there too,".

"Uh huh," he said taking the envelope," yet he couldn't trouble himself to track me down.".

"Can you blame him?" Micheal asked, "After what you did?".

"I didn't do anything," Lucifer pointed out.

"So thousands of dollars of dads money just went missing during one of your little binges?" Micheal questioned.

"Giving I wasn't even home when the money came up missing yes!" Lucifer pointed out glaring at his brother.

"You haven't changed at all Lucifer," Micheal said, "always trying to seem like the victim,".

"Ramsey come on," Lucifer said shoving past his brother and heading down the steps as Ramsey followed, "Nice to know you're still a cuck Mike!". As Lucifer walked he stared at the envelope as Ramsey trotted along beside him. His father had some nerve to invite him to one of his events. They hadn't spoken since he was arrested. Before actually. Lucifer was snapped out of his thoughts by Ramsey barking as they passed by a mechanics shop. "It's ok girl," he said petting her head. He looked up and saw a now hiring flyer. "Come here," he said leading her to a bench and patting it for her to jump up. "You stay here and be good," he then walked into the shop. He was looking around as someone walked up to him.

"Can I help you son?" the older man asked.

"Yeah, I'm here about maybe working here," Lucifer explained.

"Finally someone comes in," the man said holding out his hand "Bobby Singer and this is my shop.".

"Lucifer Shurley," he said shaking Bobby's hand.

"Come into my office," Bobby said as Lucifer followed him. Lucifer filled Bobby in on being on parole and everything as he filled out an application. "We'll let ya know in a few days," Bobby told him as he left the office. Lucifer was smiling. Things were looking up more and more. "Come on girl," he called and Ramsey hurried after him. "It's time you meet your new mom,".
