You were on a case that involved going to a fancy event. You and the boys were searching for a magical artifact that could let the holder curse others. It wouldn't be so bad but another huntress had joined you. She was pretty much hanging all over Dean. What was bad was she knew of your feelings for the green eyed hunter. She seemed to play that against you. "Any sign of the thing we're looking for yet?" Dean asked as they walked over to you. She was hugging his arm. You tried your best not to let it get to you.

"Not yet," you said.

"Why Dean," she chimed in, "we should do these kinds of cases more often. You look so good in a suit,".

"I clean up good when I have to," he said.

"Mhm," she said, "glad to be the girl on your arm,".

"We do look good together," he said. She looked over at you with a smirk.

"don't you think so too Y/N?". She asked. You felt tears rush to your eyes. You excused yourself and hurried off outside leaving Dean with a confused and worried look on his face.

"I'm gonna check on her," he said as he pulled away from the flirty huntress and headed off after you. You were sitting on the hood of Baby. You finally let the tears fall. What were you thinking? Like you could actually have a shot with Dean Winchester. "Y/N?" he asked as he reached you. You couldn't bring yourself to wipe the tears, "what's wrong?".

"Nothings wrong at all Dean," you said, "other than watching some skanky hunter use you against me,".

"Against you how?" he asked confused. Before you could stop yourself it all came out.

"She's using my feelings for you to get to me," you said, "she lets me know that no matter how much you mean to me that I'll never be good enough for you,".

"Y/N," he started but you cut him off.

"No it's ok Dean," you said, "I get it. They're amazing and beautiful. Everything I'll never be to you,". Tears started spilling from your eyes once again and you just couldn't stop them.

"Y/N, please don't cry," he said, "it hurts to see you cry,". He took your hands in his. You looked up at him.

"I've been keeping this secret from you Dean," you said, "but I don't think I can keep it anymore,".

"Then let me keep that secret too Y/N," he said. You sniffled and looked away for a moment trying to calm yourself, "or better yet it's no secret anymore,".

"I'm in love with you Dean Winchester," you said, "I have been for a long time,". Dean cupped your face in his hands and softly wiped away the tears.

"I have a secret for you secret for you as well," he said, I love you too Y/N,". He softly presses his lips to yours. It was a small kiss but it felt so right. Dean pulled you to him in an embrace. At the moment everything was calm. Everything was right.
