Just then, Tia breezed in through the door. I turned to her as she sat down beside me. She saw me barely awake and grinned. She always finds my lack of energy in the mornings hilarious. I knew she had already been for her usual morning run, had a shower and still had time to do her hair and apply a face full of makeup. It never fails to astonish me how she always has so much energy in the mornings. Ever since i could remeber, She had always turned up every day with flawless makeup, her walk full of confidence and perfect blonde hair. I mean she even manages to make the school uniform look good.
i always wondered how she ended up as my friend.
"Morning sleepy head," she whispered in my ear "Have you done the maths?"
"Orla" i replied. She made a face" You gave it to her again?!?" she scolded " you know she only ever asks you for homework , you should learn to say no once in a while,Lottie!". i knew she wasnt really angry at me.
"Hang on" she muttered, before getting up and strutting across the room towards Orla. I watched in amazement as she picked up my book off her desk, after a quick 'I'll take this' she turned on her heel and walked away leaving Orla sat there open mouthed, furious.
Tia slid into the seat beside me with a grin on her face. "Do you mind if i check my answers?" she asked, I nodded without hesitation.
