I grabbed my phone and flopped onto my bed
"Hey" I pressed send. Within seconds the phone buzzed in my hand.
"Lottie?"
I was confused for a few seconds before I realised that he didn't have my number.
"Yeah"
"Great, are you busy?"
I had homework but it could wait
"No"
"Even better, do you want to come meet me somewhere?"
My heart skipped a beat
"Sure,six at the school gates?"
"Perfect"
I changed quickly into jeans and a T-shirt before brushing my hair and plaiting it. I threw on my doctor martens and grabbed my handbag.
"mum," I called "I'm going out I have my phone if you need me"
"Ok, but be back by ten you have school tomorrow"
"Thanks mum"
I walked slowly to the school, but still arrived 10 minutes early. I sat on a bench and waited.
