The snow spread out all over the ground. On Ely's cheeks that made her shiver next to Lucy. Lucy eyes nearly split from tears of her brother.
A traitor yes, but a family member she still loved.
And the three siblings were hollering all around.
Ely thrashed her head over to the left and right getting annoyed by everything. The left was where no one was and the children and beavers were far from and no one was seen at the glade of the snowy trees. The snow was higher there with taller trees and darker in light.
Ely was a little curious, but, she was also a little afraid of it. She looked back at the others only seeing their silhouettes nearly gone.
She went forward, without looking back and staring forward toward the other five. To have the comfort of others with her.
Oh and the arms grabbed her by her waist and lifted her from the crunching ground; with one hand at Ely's mouth.
Ely looked down.
"Stick arms!?" She choked.
Her back felt wet, cold, and hard. Little chips stabbed her back.
